This app allows you to completely organize and schedule goals, projects and even mind maps to help you reach your potential. It is by the same company that produces QuickPlan Pro and the interface elegance and simplicity have followed through to this product. The export features are well thought out and even exports to the QuickPlan Pro product into a project plan. While it is not perfect (it is a ".0" release after all), it provides everything necessary to quickly and easily produce a WBS and cost out a project. I sent the developers a couple of suggestions and they responded immediately. I have no doubt this product will continue to evolve in a positive direction. The price is right, too! It would be great if they would add more cloud storage options (OneDrive, Box, GoogleDrive), as only Dropbox is currently supported. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No good way to print *2025-11-18, version 6.5* You should be able to select print like any other app, but that’s not available. The best you can do is export to an Excel file and then import it to a numbers file and then print it. ALSO no way to enter actual hours to determine actual cost ### 1/5 — What the ?? *2024-01-20, version 6.5* No reel cost, no profits or %profit…you can literally do this on a pieces of paper or in note !! Can I get reimburse? ### 2/5 — Not sure if the app is still supported *2018-02-05, version 3.5* I purchased a suite of these apps 3 in total. They were helpful and were fairly well suited to the film and tv projects I work on. I had thought the developers would continue to refine how well the apps performed. So after a break I had several new projects to manage and started with the WBS app. Unfortunately the icon allocation function no longer works...and alas the developers website has disappeared from the web. I have been duped, so buyer beware. ### 2/5 — Not Happy *2016-10-27, version 3.3* One understands that having spent time and money to develop an App the developer would like to maximize their returns on investment. However, breaking up what should be a single App into 3 and even selling them separately on different platforms ( IPad & Iphone) seems like taking it too far and may even considered to be bordering on greed. Together the three Apps of Goals, WBS and QuickPlan are useful but the should all be one App. Set the goals, break the structure down and the plan them. The goals App by itself is useless. QuickPlan, to a point is okay. The best you can do is export to an Excel file and then import it to a numbers file and then print it. ### 4/5 — Bottom chopped off on iPad Pro 11” widescreen *2021-06-07, version 6.1* Hello Team, I’ve just purchased WBS app for iPad and noticed that the bottom of the screen is chopped off on iPad Pro 11” widescreen format when I select an item. The menu on the bottom is chopped off and I’m not able to fully use the app. Please optimize the app for 11” widescreen format and release an update ASAP. FYI, the new iPad 10.9” is also widescreen and may have similar issue. Also, your other apps may have similar issues with widescreens. 2. It badly needs drag and drop boxes across columns in the layout screen. Currently, it seems deleting and re-adding the boxes is the only way to reorganize. 3. Category is not available for some boxes. Please improve that and I'll update my review. ### 5/5 — Great Brainstorming Tool for a WBS! *2023-11-06, version 6.5* So easy to just start listing tasks in a hierarchy. Then go back and add tentative end dates and cost estimates for labour and materials that get totalled up to the top task. Flip to list view for a nice layout of the work and pick missing tasks. Then back to chart view to fix things up. So easy. The program makes creation of a WBS an easy task as it should be. ### 5/5 — Worthwhile *2018-08-25, version 3.7* This is a terrific app that makes short work of producing a work breakdown structure (WBS). I admit, I was sceptical, but I took the chance and I’m glad I did - I bought the package that included the project planning and org chart. I literally copied cells from Excel and pasted them into the bulk insert feature in this app then very quickly and easily converted it into the structure I was after. It has support for iCloud Drive, which is very important to me, isn’t subscription based (also important) and appears to have quite good input controls to prevent errors. It’s just a well designed and assembled app. The only minor criticism I have is that some of the English in the app isn’t correct, which may be down to the developers language being something other than English. Not a big problem. Great job to the developers and I look forward to where the app goes.
