NPR is my main source of news. This app can be quite finicky unfortunately. I frequently have to open and close several times to get the live stream to work. Also, recently there’s been a lot of “skipping” where words are getting cut out however I’ve noticed this when listening through Alexa as well. Wont load streams, shuts down unexpectedly, wont start up. Regularly get messages on the app that the streams have been updated, streams usually wont load and play after that. Placing header ad before live feed causes header ad to play every time player is paused before resuming live feed. Buffered live feed has the same result. It is an unnecessary level of ad sharing. In fact it is quite usury of online listeners, and shows a lack of technical interest in delivering this media. I understand. Your mission is not technical expertise, but revenue generation, as your feed demonstrates everyday. ### 2/5 — Cumbersome *2015-06-23, version 3.5.7* WCMU is my local NPR radio station, but it won't come in on my radio. So I have to listen to it on line. Your app does not work easily, takes too long to load, and has too many steps. I could listen to all your content any time. Where is the Juke Joint? Can I have the old version back? This weekend has been particularly bad. I even tried reloading. I often need to restart it after it starts to load and then reverts to the app gui. This app guarantees great reception whenever we have wifi.
