With this app I can navigate to file and a pop up window says "open in". I then pick a media player. I like VLC so I pick open in VLC (assuming you've pre installed that app). The one trick is go into settings and flick off or on the WLAN option to get this to work away from home. Wish the WD native app had open in option. This app is incredible. ### 5/5 — Excellent *2016-07-31, version 2.2* Finally, a third party app which allows AVI etc streaming from the Mycloud. Brilliant! ### 5/5 — So far so good *2015-12-27* This version is so much better now that I can finally use it, before it wouldn't play any files at all and it was basically useless, but now it works just like it should. I was blown out of the water when I attempted to render my video to my WDLiveTv media player and you didn't offer that choice.
