Weather data doesn’t even match what’s going on outside… this app has been unusable for a while now. I can’t add locations as only half the keyboard shows. I can’t delete locations as that capability is no longer available. I’ve deleted app and reloaded but that didn’t help at all. I’m not sure why 4warn thought this was an improvement. Now it only share very little within last two hours and current radar. It does not give any future radar. Needless to say this is very very frustrating and doesn’t help plan my day or at least the next few hours at all can you change it back or somehow enhance what was and change the radar in the app. Thank you. ### 1/5 — Radar *2025-06-25, version 7.0.0* What happened to the radar? You can only see where it’s been and where it is now, not where it’s going. What is the point of radar then? We just have to guess what’s going to hit and when? ### 1/5 — Uses ridiculous amount of cellular data *2025-06-24, version 7.0.0* Ever since this app received a major update in 2023 or 2024 it has been using obscene amounts of cellular data. How bad? 14.1 GB vs 1.01 GB for the second highest app. I never open the app while away from home. All the data it uses is while in the background. I emailed support and have not received any response. Likely going to remove the app. My streaming apps such as Spotify and SiriusXM use only approximately 47% as much data. It takes forever to load on my phone. I much preferred the radar that showed past to future. The new radar is super slow and only shows up to present. That is when I can get the app open, half the time it crashes on me. It used to go an hour or two into the future to show the predicted path of storms and now it’s like nope, you can only see where it’s been and where it is right now. That’s it. The radar function is pretty much useless. It moves at a snails pace and they’ve separated the current and forecast functions so you can no longer see where it’s been, followed by where it’s going. I live most of the improvements over time but have grown frustrated over the past couple weeks. I use the multiple locations feature often but have not been able to switch between locations. Still no change after a recent update. I just don’t understand why companies have to take something good and tinker with it only to completely ruin the user experience. The new app is so glitchy where videos don’t load properly and then the interface is just not intuitive. On top of that, it’s diminished so much in quality over the years. I wish the developers would listen and stop inflating the ratings. Most recent reviews are negative, yet it still sits at a 4.7 in the App Store. I will be going back to the main Apple weather app, but I hope something can be done here. ### 1/5 — From good to terrible *2026-04-17, version 7.1.1* Amazes me that it’s had constant 1 star reviews since the change and it’s still rated good in the App Store. Another app developer that doesn’t listen to the users… how many people have to delete before bringing the old version back? Well, this used to be a good app. The best around. Very easy to use. The new version is beyond terrible. I deleted it a few days after the update. I come back here to see if there are any updates to fixing this disaster and to see what people are saying. Still the same. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2026-02-23, version 7.0.5* Like everyone else says, it used to work. Today i click on it and i get a rapid succession of weird ads. Every time i swipe one away another pops up in about 1 second. And the ads weird stuff like feet pics too. Used to be am excellent tool. Now it’s rendered unusable by ads. ### 1/5 — Atrociously aggravating app *2025-11-28, version 7.0.4* Possibly one of the worst app I have ever used. Used to be much simpler and much better app then about a year or so ago they decided to “upgrade” it and the app has completely gone down the toilet ever since. If you ever want to watch a forecast video you have to suffer through at least 2 minutes of full ads that are unskippable and then in the middle of the video if you decide to forward or rewind the video then it glitches again and makes you watch two more minutes of videos all over again. This app is so awful I’m blown away why or how it still has such positive reviews. It’s now only a little better than a paperweight. Radar is terrible. Shows completely different forecasts than reputable competitors such as MyRadar and weather channel. Gives alerts for areas that are an hour away. ### 1/5 — Not a good service *2025-08-12, version 7.0.3* Not a good weather alert service nor trustworthy but neither are a lot of other free weather alert services I had on my devices to protect me when I am out in the community. This app I get the false alarms and the alerts lying to me saying lightning was decked in your area. Look outside and it’s bright and sunny outside and no thundering or lightning at all. It’s done this so many times and I’m sick and tired of it. A lot of these severe weather alert services should get fined every time for false alarms- it should be a Federal offense and it’s just as bad as kids pulling the fire alarms in buildings and then running out the door. To me it’s very similar and it totally is disruptive and causes panic when not needed. Fix your app or I’m deleting the app off my devices and going with a fully trustworthy severe weather alert app and service that will always be fully trustworthy and accurate. ### 1/5 — Radar *2025-07-01, version 7.0.0* I agree with all these others! I really appreciate the updates and the newformat Only one problem: when giving the forecasts, the guys talk in counties. While I recognize them as Michigan counties but don’t always know wWHERE they are. It would really help if the county names were on all the maps. With the radar I can check on my kids: AnnArbor, Pinckney and Abingdon Virg. I even liked the old way. Thank you for being there and giving updates, warning, and locations of bad weather to this senior citizen who lives alone and can’t drive anymore. Hello to all the weather guys. A message popped this last time to review it. I hit close by accident. So I specifically came back to the App Store to give it a 5 star rating! So thorough, easy to use and the best part, is the straight forward language used. They don’t use the technical language meteorologists use! Today I was alerted of a severe weather alert in my area as well as surrounding areas.
