## What is WDW Fan Zone?

The WDW Fan Zone is a community of people who enjoy topics related to WDW by sharing passion, knowledge, and memories.  This app brings our podcast and social media content to your fingertips.  Our app also provides features that help you to record your attractions, shows, dining, hotels, and other activities and notes from your WDW or DL trip and to generate a trip report.

Features:
1. Trips
- Record your Disney trips (subscriptions currently include Disneyland and Walt Disney World) including your resort, parks visited, attractions and experiences, lodging, and dining (requires annual subscription per Disney resort)
- Track how long you spend in attraction queues and which queue you used (standby, lightning lane, virtual, single rider)
- Add notes and rate your experiences
- View parks, attractions and experiences, lodging, and dining for Disney resorts.  An annual subscription per Disney resort, except for a few free items.
- Generate a formatted trip report for your trip in PDF format
- Trip data is shared across your devices if you enable iCloud for this app
2. Maps
- See the location of attractions and experiences and dining at Disney parks (requires annual subscription)
- Get route or directions from your location to a given attractions/experience or dining (requires annual subscription)
3. Surveys
- Share your opinions anonymously by answering our survey questions

### 2.2.4 — 2026-08-01

Expanding on last version's ability to sort and filter Experiences and Food (Dining) by name on the Resorts screen, you can now also filter by type.
1. Experiences - filter by Ride, Show, Character Experience, Other, Event, All - after touching magnifying glass.
2. Dining - filter by Table Service, Counter Service, Food Cart, All - after touching magnifying glass.

### 2.2.3 — 2026-07-10

1. Closed food locations will not show by default in the Food resort on the Resorts screen.
2. Closed food locations will be listed if the Closed toggle is turned on.
3. Closed experiences (attractions, shows, character experiences) will be listed on the Resorts screen if the Closed toggle is turned on.
4. Food locations can be filtered on the Resorts screen, or specific locations can be found by using the magnifying glass.
5. Experiences can be filtered on the Resorts screen, or specific experiences can be found by using the magnifying glass.
6. When scheduling hotels and dining, or changing a Start Date, the End Date will automatically default to the Start Date until changed.
7. Links to menus on the WDW website have been added to WDW restaurants.

### 2.2.2 — 2025-08-07

1. You can now view all available resorts, parks, experiences (attractions, character experiences, shows, parades/fireworks), dining, and hotels that are available with subscription prior to subscribing to a resort (WDW or DL).  These will only be available to add to a trip with a subscription.
2. You can use a connected Apple Watch to record entering and leaving a park, and adding an experience or dining to your existing trip on the phone.  You can also select the queue used and use an attraction timer right on the watch.
3. Experiences and dining locations now show opening dates and closing dates if they are new or are closing permanently.
4. You can see how many times you're previously visited an experience and the last time you visited (more to come for parks, dining, and hotels).

### 2.2.1 — 2025-01-08

1. Record the details of your WDW and DL resort trips (requires annual subscription) and generate trip reports.
2. When answering a survey, there is now a confirmation that you have submitted your answer.

1. YouTube podcasts have been added to the Podcasts screen with Apple and TalkShoe
2. A Survey screen was added for you to reply anonymously to express your opinions
