At first, right after being matched with a helper, the process was quite fast. However, unlike other agencies, they do not work on weekends, which causes delays in tasks such as obtaining approval from MOM and applying for insurance. More importantly, they do not provide updates on the current progress.
On Saturday, I sent an email asking about the status, but even during Monday’s office hours, I received no reply, so I had to send another email. Since I don’t know when the helper will arrive at my home, I applied for annual leave starting from Monday and stayed at home waiting. Now it is Tuesday, but I still haven’t received any updates from We Are Caring, so I had to reach out to them again. Then I was told that I would have to wait until Wednesday. Compared to other agencies, their process is much too slow.
