WE Energies could have easily provided instructions and what to expect. For me the update finally worked but only after creative troubleshooting. Customers complying should get a credit for our time. ### 1/5 — They will leave your house without gas to change out a meter. *2026-05-16, version 2.19.0* Went on vacation and was called to be told my meter was replaced and my gas was turned off. No furnace, hot water or dryer until it was turned back on. I had to call a service tech to turn these appliances back on. No notice or nothing. Terrible ### 1/5 — We Energies App does not work after recent update *2026-06-25, version 2.18.0* After downloading the most recent required update I've found that no matter what I try I cannot access the app, even after updating the app it just continues to say “Update Required”….”A new version of the app is available. To improve your experience , please update the app to continue using it”. For context I have an IPhone X. Alternatively I can login to the We Energies website in my browser and pay that way, though it’s slightly more inconvenient and I preferred the app which worked fine before. Overall I’m disappointed in this app seeing as I can longer use it, and I’m a bit perturbed at the We Energies IT team for creating this issue especially given that it’s been over a month now without any fix. ### 1/5 — iPad no longer usable *2026-06-21, version 2.18.0* You updated the app but now it is no longer functional on my iPad. I can pay my bill with a couple of clicks from the app, I can monitor the outages in our area, and I can report an outage if we have one. My only complaint is that there was a widespread intentional power outage for some upgrades to the infrastructure. I got no notification ahead of time. Had it not been for my neighbor telling me I would not have known of the outage. Minor inconvenience. We turned on our portable generator for about three hours, and there was minor inconvenience. ### 5/5 — Gas and electric *2026-05-16, version 2.19.0* I’m happy that I have Wii energy.
