Secondly the concept is pointless as it is nothing like a pub quiz and is antisocial. I would give 0 stars if I could. ### 1/5 — Kept freezing! *2021-06-01, version 2.2* Kept freezing when trying to answer the questions, lost out on up to 200 points when the quiz is used nationally so me and my friends have potentially missed out on the big prize. I would give it 0 stars if I could. ### 1/5 — How can you get a code from the bar if the pub is closed? *2020-12-13, version 2.2* I’ve been trying to get a code to join a quiz for tonight (Sunday) and it says get code from the bar - how am I supposed to when the pubs are closed? Prior to this you wouldn’t need a code ‘from the bar’ and you would just select join - and nowhere or no one to contact for help?! ### 1/5 — Rubbish!! *2020-11-15, version 2.2* “Name the film from this song” App: doesn’t play anything Me: erm... Top Gun? App: Nope ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2020-10-27, version 2.2* My local pub used this app for a national quiz, it took the fun out of doing a quiz. Very antisocial as one person sits on a phone so you can’t all discuss and participate. Having it done as “fastest finger” made it more like a game then a quiz. A few of the questions were ambiguous or had multiple correct answers but would only award one answer as correct. It also had some answers that were actually incorrect. Definitely put me off joining another pub quiz if they use this app. ### 1/5 — Good on first impressions but scratch the surface... *2020-10-11, version 2.2* The app itself looks really well made, easy to use and intuitive. However, there’s a bug in it which sees it crashing during quizzes randomly and not allowing you to input answers. Sort this out and it’ll be a 5 star rating from me but until then? Thumbs down ### 1/5 — Very Disappointing *2020-09-11, version 2.2* It took 40 mins to log into the app to begin playing the quiz, as a result I missed the whole first round. There was no quiz host at the venue who could help us solve the problem. Also they advertise big money to win, but this is a bit of a lie. It’s actually much smaller amounts to win because it depends on how many people are playing per night.l this is confirmed in their terms and condition which not many people read! Too slow and glitchy *2020-08-16, version 2.1* So slow and glitchy it’s unreal ### 4/5 — Nice way to pass the evening *2020-05-31, version 1.0.2* I first signed up as something to do during lockdown and my first quiz was a friends one. I got my Mum, sister and niece to sign up as well and we have a Tuesday evening zoom together and try to get the answers but I do have to say that some of the questions are quite hard. There are a few technical issues still and they’ve stopped showing the full number of participants which is why I’ve not given 5 stars. When you come 82nd in a quiz you feel better if it’s out of 250 rather than 100 😂 All in all it’s good value for money and passes an hour a couple of times a week. We have done the Sunday quiz for many years. The Facebook page used to provide nationwide leaderboards for every quiz. They stopped this so nobody knows where they came, or who won the national prize. There is no proof a prize is given. The individual pub leaderboards no longer show in the app, only historic ones. Some pubs don’t get given the code for the quiz. Even after restarting the app. Quiz ruined. Nobody can hear the audio from one person's phone in a pub, even with the volume turned up and then you're disturbing the other tables. The app itself has a terrible UX outside of game times and a poor one within it. The fastest finger always keeps the teams buzzing. There were some issues during lockdown but they were fixed straight away and the developer was always very polite and understanding. Especially in the current situation where we can’t do a lot in regards to entertainment. Really easy to set up, just plug it in and go! Customers love the fastest finger game side of it. We do prizes in house on the night, but then the larger quiz prizes to be won are a great idea and brings our whole company together in the competition.
