The game bears absolutely no resemblance to the game show whatsoever other than the name and the device of “banking” money. The way the game is designed also makes it basically impossible to complete a full game without having to pay for extra lives. Extremely disappointing. Fans deserve better. Now, I’M NOT TRYING TO BECOME A CONTESTANT ON THIS SHOW…AT LEAST NOT YET. BUT JUST YESTERDAY, I CAME ACROSS TWL AS AN APP ON THE IPHONE. I’VE BEEN PRACTICING THIS GAME FOR ONLY THE FIRST DAY, AND I REALLY LIKE IT. The 2:00 MINUTE TIMER CAN REALLY GO FAST IG I DON’T ANSWER ENOUGH QUESTIONS TO REACH THE NEXT LEVELS. IT’S BEEN 23 YEARS SINCE NBC PREMIERED “ THE WEAKEST LINK” WITH ORIGINAL HOST ANNE ROBINSON. YOU, MISS LYNCH ARE CARRYING ON THIS SHOW BY JUST BEING YOURSELF. It follows the format of the show, roughly. The only things I would change is: -Don’t have a certain number to bank. Try and have us reach the target -Dumb down some of the questions or have players choose question difficulty. Don’t give hints in the questions, too -Have a multiplayer option and it can either serve as pass and play or people can create or join a game. Or give people the option to go against computer players -Include voting. It’s one of the crucial things in Weakest Link. -For multiplayer mode, have one screen as the host and contestant screen. It can have an onscreen button for banking money like in the show and a voting screen for the elimination round.
