From what I've seen since the year 2000, traditional retirement income planning just has not worked for retirees. Most people save up a bunch of money inside their 401(k)s or other retirement plans only to take a tiny "safe" withdrawal amount of 4% and live a highly diminished retirement lifestyle. Cornerstone demonstrates strategies to take 8% -12% income withdrawal rates with significantly LESS risk. It may sound too good to be true but, once you understand the main concepts, you will see that it's actually a pretty simple strategy.
