## What is WealthView?

WealthView is the UK retirement planning and net worth tracking app that puts you in control of your financial future.

RETIREMENT MODELLER
See your pension pot projected from today through 30 years of drawdown. Three scenarios -- pessimistic, realistic, and optimistic -- show a range of outcomes so you can plan for what matters.

- Set a target monthly income or withdrawal rate
- Model your State Pension with deferral options (+5.8%/yr)
- Take a tax-free lump sum up to the £268,275 allowance
- Add DB pensions and rental income as guaranteed income streams
- Year-by-year breakdown shows exactly where every pound goes

STRESS TEST YOUR PLAN
Four scenarios challenge your retirement plan: Longevity Risk (what if you live longer?), Low Growth, Market Crash in early retirement, and Care Costs. Each shows whether your pot survives with a clear pass/fail verdict.

ADVANCED SCENARIOS (Premium)
Layer real life events onto your base plan:
- Property sales and contribution changes
- FIRE bridge phases -- draw from your ISA while your pension grows untouched until access age
- Phased retirement with reduced contributions
- Income changes by age (go-go / slow-go / no-go spending phases)
- Gifts and phased tax-free cash withdrawals
- ISA/Pension Bucket Mode for precise drawdown ordering

Save and compare multiple named scenarios side by side.

NET WORTH TRACKER
Track everything you own and owe across 7 categories: Property, Mortgage, Cash, Investments, Pension, Debts, and Other Assets. See your total net worth, category breakdowns, and trends over time.

- Interactive chart with 1M, 3M, 1Y, 3Y, and MAX views
- Category filters to isolate pension growth, cash savings, or any single asset
- Milestone celebrations at £50k, £100k, £250k, £500k, £750k, and £1m
- Net Worth Modeller: project future wealth with per-asset growth rates

TAX OVERVIEW
- Income tax and National Insurance calculator (England, Wales, Scotland)
- Scottish 6-band SRIT support
- Pension Annual Allowance tracker with employer/employee split
- ISA allowance tracking (£20,000)
- Salary sacrifice NI savings
- Inheritance Tax projection to age 85
- Capital Gains Tax planning
- Retirement tax estimate based on your drawdown plan

COUPLE MODE
Plan together. Add a partner profile with independent retirement assumptions and see combined projections.

BUILT FOR THE UK
- PLSA 2024/25 Retirement Living Standards benchmarks built in
- UK State Pension rates and rules
- Pension access age (55 rising to 57 from April 2028)
- UK tax bands and NI thresholds pre-loaded for 2026/27
- Lump Sum Allowance (£268,275)
- GBP by default (USD and EUR also available)

PRIVACY FIRST
All data stays on your device. No account required. No data sent to servers. PIN security with auto-lock.

FREE TO START
Unlimited accounts and all 6 tabs are visible for free. Premium (£7.99 one-time, not a subscription) unlocks the full retirement modeller controls, Advanced Scenarios, Stress Test, Net Worth Modeller, unlimited snapshot history, dark mode, real-terms charts, IHT/CGT sections, and more.

### 5/5 — Great app & support

*2026-07-05*

Excellent support from Cam, even at weekends. I recommend this app if you want a simple track on your wealth and effect of drawdown.

**Developer response:** Thanks for reaching out with your feedback, much appreciated and happy to help

### 5/5 — Best Finance app I’ve had

*2026-06-24*

I’ve tried a few apps to manage my wealth and retirement plan but most have poor UX or want a large monthly sub…this app gives me everything I need, forever, for the same price as just one month on most app! Excellent work

**Developer response:** Thanks for the positive feedback

### 5/5 — WealthView App

*2026-05-21*

Works great, making a complex series of calculations easily and allows tinkering with figures for different retirement scenarios. A great little tool and recommended.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the positive feedback, glad you like it

### 5/5 — Extremely powerful

*2026-05-12*

Saw people talking about this on a financial Facebook group and had a look at the screen shots and decided it looked good for me. I’m about to retire and this fits the bill for those in a similar position as well as pre pension age too. Highly recommend!!

**Developer response:** Thanks, appreciate the positive feedback

### 4/5 — No rental income option

*2026-05-03*

There doesn’t seem to be rental income option for BTL properties.

**Developer response:** Hey, thanks for the feedback. Under retirement and advanced scenario you can use “phased retirement” to show additional income streams which will model the impact.

Update 24/06. V2.2 will include a specific input for rental income

### 5/5 — Great little App

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2026-04-29*

What a fantastic all in one app! Came across the app this morning from the authors Facebook post and immediately paid up. Perfect window into your finances, pension, drawdown and tax. You can tell the developer spent time on what truly matters and has kept the layout concise and relevant. Great work

**Developer response:** Thanks Libby, I’m glad you find it useful! I built it on my own from the ground up as a tool to help myself but glad it’s helping others too

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.2.2 — 2026-07-15

New in the app:

1. Brand new look and feel to the app, more modern user experience with the addition of 'app launcher' for future WealthView eco system apps

2. Different drawdown at different ages. You can now set your income to change at any age — spend more in your active early-retirement years and less later (the "go-go / slow-go / no-go" pattern). It's under Advanced Scenarios as "Income Change", and you can stack a few to build distinct bands for your 50s, 60s and 70s.

3. Cash, money-market funds, bonds and gilts growing at a sensible rate. You can now tag any account in your retirement pot as "lower-growth" (a shield toggle) and set the rate those holdings grow at, separately from your main growth rate. So gilts and bonds no longer get projected as if they were equities. Importantly, this changes growth only — a gilt inside a SIPP is still treated as pension money for tax and lump-sum purposes. Hold these wherever they actually sit; no need to move them around.

4. Taking the tax-free lump sum in chunks. Beyond the single lump sum at retirement, you can now model phased tax-free cash (Flexi-Access Drawdown). You can take it once, for a set number of years, or every year until your £268,275 allowance is used up.

5. Gifting. You can now record a gift at any age, which reduces your pot at that point (under Advanced Scenarios "Gift").
