Great overview and great detail. My bug bears are the appearance of odd units after a recent update: Rainfall is suddenly given in inches and not mm as before. More oddly, air pressure is now in inHg instead of mbar or hPa. I am all for providing different units for different users. Could you please add setting to let users choose these units? Have subscribed to at least 5 other apps and have settled with this one. ### 5/5 — Fantastic App *2024-04-03* It’s a fantastic app that for me personally supersedes the native iOS weather app. I used the free version, however given my disdain for advertisements, I bought the Pro version. The two takeaways that I’d like to see from the creators of this app are as follows: 1) I would like a dark mode. Unfortunately this is the one app that will blind me if I open it up in a dark room. Maybe it’s just preparing me to look into the total eclipse next week, however I’m not sure. 2) One of the things that would be a tremendous improvement would be dual temperature readings, such as F° for Americans and C° for the rest of us on planet Earth. I know Deutsche Welle offers this on their television weather reports, but having to change my phone settings because family or friends are unable to understand that 20°C is actually quite nice and does not require the use of a winter survival suit would be quite helpful. Those are just my thoughts, otherwise it’s still my go-to weather app since 2015. ### 5/5 — Accurate and rapid forecast. *2024-01-28, version 2024.2* Very useful app. The weather radar accurately shows approaching rain. Very useful, especially in UK where rain is frequent. This gives daily/ hourly details the best by far! Don’t like the sliders on MyRadar they’re more cutesy than useful. Great privacy statement for Pro version. This IS a selling point. The back ground for the radar could be dark. And it could offer wind arrows for direction and intensity like MyRadar Pro fully upgraded offers. As a result I jump back and forth between these two most often being unable to make do with just this one. Five stars for forecasting and data layout. Wirklich Schade! ### 1/5 — Gone bad *2025-01-31, version 2025.2.1* This app used to be my favourite weather forecaster. In January 2025 they decided to make it an iPhone only device. The user experience on an iPad is now very poor. Charts render poorly. Such a shame. ### 1/5 — A confused user *2021-08-17, version 2021.16* I have been using this app and recording the data it gives users over the summer moulin the U.K. it appears that the good weather with warmer temperatures is always a week away and constantly moves keeping the said warmer weather 5 to 7 days away. It never actually materialises!! So a suggestion for the owners/ creators of this app. Call it “ Dangling the Carrot “ I’m not sure where you get your weather information from but perhaps you needs to look elsewhere. In reply to your recent message to me I would like to say the following. We all know weather changes by the hour in the U.K. let alone 3-5 days ahead. I wonder why it is the your 3-5 days ahead is always recording very warm temperatures? Then we get to the 3-5 days to find the carrot of warm weather has moved yet another 3-5 days away. Just like the temperature displayed in today’s forecast (17th Aug 2021). I foresee the same thing will happen in the next 3-5 days. Weather nowhere near the temperatures given earlier. Again I say perhaps you should change your weather forecaster or stop trying to predict the future of U.K. weather from Germany if that’s is where you are based. Not the first time either. I contacted support who told me this was done to overcome displays problems on a some other devices. So I now have to put up with small views to overcome problems appearing on a few other devices. Not the way I’d expect a developer to move forward, create a problem for my device to overcome a problem with other device. ### 2/5 — Brilliant App - BUT Some Strong Suggestions *2023-10-11* Love the app, but have some strong suggestions for the pro version: (1) Hate the app icon, especially that it shows “pro” just looks terrible, a better icon or the option to choose an nicer icon without the pro word or an option to just remove the pro part would be good. (2) The App “title” shows as “WeatherRadar” all as one word and looks awful and does not fit in all iPhone and iPad screen resolutions, whereas the app is really called Weather & Radar Pro. Perhaps a shortened simple app title like “Weather Pro” would be much better?. (3) The Webcam section automatic chooses a webcam from somewhere locally but is often not the best choice. We try to highlight the Pro version as a different service so people do not get confused between the two paid vs free app versions. As for the webcams, it automatically selects one nearest to you based on location services, but unfortunately sometimes the nearest is not that near to you depending on webcam availability, which is out of our hands. The updated daily news items are always relevant and interesting and the accompanying videos enhance that. Tamsin’s weekly weather trend videos are always a great way to find out what the next week or so will bring and you can focus on the specific wind, rain, temperature or even lightning activity elements via separate live radar screens. You can choose to receive weather warning notifications for your location. Tracking pollen levels, astro info, UV and air quality is built in too, together with a current 14-day forecast graph. Check out coastal specific data for those locations too!
