Lots of other weather apps allow you to manually look up a location and set the weather for that location. This also adds flexibility since you can monitor the weather for another location. How do I do this? **Developer response:** Hi, it is not possible to use the app without giving the location permission because all the weather components that you add to any location are saved in the remote database to be able to manage them from any device using the same account. Weather Bot is definitely not the most accurate. Not sure where they source weather info from, but it needs to be changed. In all fairness, when I contacted the developer he was quick to respond, however the issue was not solved. I like the layout, like the multi screens and it’s overall operation. But I need accuracy, especially when paying for any application like this. And while you’re adding stations, add some colors and movement. Makes for a much nicer environment. Even for weather. ### 2/5 — I’ve had better (but looking ahead) *2022-10-09, version 1.1.5* You need to give your email address to enable any functionality (Bad), then pay for a premium service if you want full functionality (Bad), You can select whatever widgets you want for various locations (temp, wind, rain, etc) but is very, very basic and doesn’t provide more information than any typical weather app that doesn’t require your email or setup. TLDR: Not worth it. (Read edit below) Edit: Thank you developer for your response! That alone is worth another star. I look forward to future updates and will edit my review as it changes. It’s thundering and lightning, it’s windy and raining horribly. The app suggests ‘partly cloudy’. If I trust your prediction and go out, I’ll be done for the day. BTW I checked other apps like Accu Weather and they are at least suggesting it’s raining. **Developer response:** Thank you for the tip. Looking at their updates they seem to be dedicated to keeping new features coming. And they tell you what they are working on.
