### 3/5 — Selling doesn’t really change anything.

*2021-01-12, version 2019.1.8*

Rating would be changed if there were any updates to this game. It looks like the last one was a year ago. Needs more planets and milestone upgrades.

### 4/5 — Fun game, but a little basic

*2020-12-19, version 2019.1.8*

I’ve played this game for a few days now and I enjoy it. I haven’t reached the prestige portion of the game, but the event cards and little AI quips make the grind enjoyable. Despite that, I have one major issue, and it may just be me, but I feel that geothermal cubes produce too much. I have never seen a weather-dependent cube produce more power than a geothermal one, so an aspect of the game which could have been fun—figuring out the optimum setup for your region and season—is turned into an explicitly-stated optimal strategy. I can acknowledge that this may be because of my region or the current weather, but if not, I would like for this to be changed—it would also give a use for power cubes once all of the upgrades are bought.

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer! We hope to release an update soon.

### 4/5 — Simplistic

*2020-12-04, version 2019.1.8*

A very simple but entertaining game. I’m sure it’ll inspire more like it. Great work.

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer!

### 4/5 — Great game

*2020-11-17, version 2019.1.8*

It’s a great game, and I love the fact it uses real life weather... I wish it was updated more though.

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer! We hope to release an update soon.

### 4/5 — Wow Pogchamp

### 4/5 — Really fun but one big problem

*2020-11-08, version 2019.1.8*

This game is supper fun. It takes a unique approach too a clicker. But there’s one problem I have witch is when you want to change your wether cubes it cost cores. I want ok see the ether change and then change how my cubes get there power. Unless there’s a really easy way to get cores later in the game that isn’t really possible.

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer! We hope to release an update soon.

### 4/5 — Great Game

*2020-10-31, version 2019.1.8*

Great game that will take time to complete without having to be to involved

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer! We hope to release an update soon.

### 4/5 — Enjoyable Game and Weather App

*2019-06-10, version 2019.1.8*

This game is quite relaxing and enjoyable. I like how the real-world weather is integrated into the game mechanics. The progression is okay, not too slow but there is room for improvement.
While I do like the game I don’t see myself playing it long-term. There just isn’t enough depth. It could use a few more mechanics to keep me playing.
Maybe if there was a way to integrate weather radar and weather alerts so that it could become a full-featured weather app in addition to a game. Even if it was a premium purchase. (But please, not a monthly subscription)
Still it is worth giving it a try and I hope that the developer keeps adding additional features.

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer!

### 4/5 — More than your generic clicker!

*2019-04-14, version 2019.1.7*

As a weather app and a game this app is sure to inspire more hybrids like it. There are plenty of mini-quests within the game to keep you busy instead of monotonous tapping. And if you are doing work or having breakfast, just let the game run and listen for the tell-tale alert notifying you that you need to choose an event card. Very often one of these cards will grant you 15, 25, 50 or even a 75% bonus on top of your current energy. It’s like compound interest but quicker!

Just when the game reaches it’s climax, you can sell your planet and receive a cosmic core which is worth a 20% bonus on your next operation (which is essentially just a complete restart of the game). After 5 cosmic cores, starting over means that everything happens twice as fast. (At least in theory...let’s test that!)

Could it be improved? Yes absolutely, but it’s still great as is and you don’t need to spend a dime. However, please consider at least buying one thing via IAP...it helps support the developers and you’ll likely get rewarded with new features.

Well, here’s hoping that the universe doesn’t collapse from boredom or you meet your antimatter counterpart!

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for your amazing review, it made us smile! More content is coming to use with all those cosmic cores. Please note, we are not responsible for any catastrophic antimatter events. Thank you for playing.

### 4/5 — Getting better

*2019-03-28, version 2019.1.6*

The last update changed a lot of things for the better, but there are still a lot of rough edges. There is still no in-game description of what the cubes you deploy actually relate to. Solar and wind make sense, but I don’t know what biofuel does, and the hydroelectric and geothermal cubes have been locked at 65% for days. This game is especially punishing for people who work night; once the sun sets, solar (understandably) drops to 10%, and those two 65% cubes are the best you can hope for. Seeing as the top three cubes routinely rate around or above 120%, you’re penalized harshly for not playing during the day.

Offline earnings are better after the update, but it seems no idle developer really understands the difference between a browser-based incremental and a mobile incremental. I can leave the browser running all day at home, sure, but I can’t just have my phone sitting unlocked all day. Unfortunately, if you want to make meaningful progress, that’s what you’re going to have to do. Since offline earnings top out at 60% for only a handful of hours after the game is suspended, so too will my rating be locked at 60%.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2019-03-18, version 2019.1.5*

Having fun with it so far, could use a help menu to explain how each of the cube types determine how much output they get, specifically how bio, hydro and geo are getting their output values.

### 5/5 — Great app with a great concept

*2019-03-17, version 2019.1.4*

It's just great

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Fun game

*2021-02-18, version 2019.1.8*

Updated review dropping to 1 star. This game does not disclose it accesses the clipboard every time you open. What do you need from my clipboard? Please disclose that you are doing that or stop.

Overall I am enjoying the game. It’s fun to see how your weather affects the game, though it does force me to be more conservative and really only use geothermal. Also it think there should be milestones or rewards for buying so many of one upgrade. Otherwise you buy a few and save up for the next level and don’t really touch anything below that.

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer! We’re not using the clipboard functionality however we will look into the issue. Possible to be a game engine bug.

### 1/5 — Prestige mechanic broken

*2020-11-17, version 2019.1.8*

Prestige mechanism resets and does not refund upgrades bought via IAP currency. This is unreasonable and should be made more clear when resetting.

### 1/5 — Accesses the clipboard in iOS 14.2

*2020-11-03, version 2019.1.8*

This game is alright for a clicker. I noticed today a message showing that the app is accessing the clipboard in iOS 14.2 without my permission.

Please address this privacy violation.

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer! We’re not using the clipboard functionality however we will look into the issue. Possible to be a game engine bug.

### 1/5 — Extremely dull

*2019-12-15, version 2019.1.8*

I find nothing all that special from this game. Average to below average clicker game. Nothing makes me want to actually stay in app. Worth of all, the AI meant to guide you through the game is relentlessly annoying and only cycles through a handful of rude comments.

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer! We hope to release an update soon.

### 1/5 — Core get reset after sell operation.

*2019-04-07, version 2019.1.7*

Purchases made with cores like the offline earnings and bonus taps should not reset after I sell my operation to start over. Will not play again unless it’s fixed unfortunately.

**Developer response:** Completely understand, and changes are coming. I’ve removed core requirements from recalling your cubes and boosted core generation in general to help. There is a large patch scheduled next month that will not only address this but add some more interesting things to the game.

I hope you can stick it out a little longer or try my game in the future once I smooth things out. Thank you for playing and your honest feedback! Community feedback is driving a ton of changes and I'm committed to making this enjoyable for everyone.

### 1/5 — Simply not fun

*2019-03-19, version 2019.1.5*

Progression is really slow, with steps between each task hours apart. A RNG driven events system that is biased to vaporize all of your resources unless you watch an ad (as opposed to double your rewards if you watch an ad) ruin this game for me.

### 1/5 — Bug

*2019-03-15, version 2019.1.4*

I open up the game and it says I have no connection even if I have WiFi or data on. If it's fixed I'll be happy to use the app and fix my review

### 1/5 — Bug

*2019-03-14, version 2019.1.4*

Any location you enter says it doesn’t exist so you can’t progress past the first minute of gameplay.

### 2/5 — Has potential but too unbalanced

*2019-03-23, version 2019.1.5*

I enjoy clickers and having a system tied to the real weather is a cool feature, but unfortunately the game is really unbalanced. I have been checking in a few times a day for several days and still can not afford the 5th cube. Is it supposed to take days? If it’s balanced where you have to actively play for hours a day to get anywhere, well...I have better things to do.

### 3/5 — Weather Offline

*2023-04-14*

Fun game, great premise, been looking for a decent game without forced ads, unfortunately no matter what location I put in the game tells me my weather is offline. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if that works and it hasn’t fixed anything. Additionally I cannot find the app in my Settings to check if there’s a permission I need to toggle for it. There’s no pop ups in game to ask me about any permissions either (like the usual “Turn on notifications / ad tracking” pop ups every other app seems to have). I can find the app in my storage but not in my Settings list. Idk if this is a server side issue or if the app is meant to be like that. Unfortunately won’t be reinstalling and playing it until I get a viable solution in a reply to this review.

### 5/5 — i will revive this game from 2018

*2023-01-24, version 2019.1.8*

Underrated

### 5/5 — Such a unique game

*2022-05-30, version 2019.1.8*

I like how the game alters my locations weather

### 5/5 — Nice game

*2021-07-06, version 2019.1.8*

I love the weather experience from the game.

### 5/5 — Just peaceful

*2021-04-09, version 2019.1.8*

This game is so smooth and works with your current locations weather almost flawlessly. The music is always calm and peaceful. Perfect difficulty to get to prestige in my opinion. And honestly my absolute TOP favorite thing about this app is that they DO NOT force ads on you whatsoever. I think this is truly the first out of dozens of “idle” apps I have tried keeps it ad free. Hats off to the devs🙌

### 5/5 — Fun

*2021-02-24, version 2019.1.8*

Fun

### 5/5 — Great

*2021-01-29, version 2019.1.8*

Interesting game

### 5/5 — Fun clicker

*2020-11-23, version 2019.1.8*

It’s a nice clicker with the really unique feature of changing your autos with the weather in your area

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer!

### 5/5 — cool, but has a strange issue

*2020-11-14, version 2019.1.8*

ok, i havent played much of this game, but it seems very interesting and fun, especially how its based on actually weather! but my issue it that the game somehow forces into landscape mode when it clearly is a portrait mode game. im on an ipad just for reference, imnot sure if this effects other people. it doesnt really effect gameplay much, but like for example: when i want to show the dock, i swipe up from the bottom, but since its like in landscape mode, its really to the left of the screen.

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer! We hope to release an update soon.

### 5/5 — Nice little game

*2020-11-09, version 2019.1.8*

Charming game. Really neat/unique gameplay integration with weather.

Wishlist/questions to devs
- wish switching cube types didn’t require cores
- unclear what benefit cosmic core provides
- seems like it will take days of playing before you are able to sell and restart, not sure if 20% boost is worth it
- is cloud save possible? would like to play on iphone and ipad

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing Weather Farmer! We hope to release an update soon.

### 5/5 — LOVE IT

*2019-06-05, version 2019.1.8*

I originally downloaded this game as a short time killer but I now love it and now it kills my time lol. No but I am very interested in this game.
I’ve played a decent amount so far and no complaints.
I love how certain upgrades actually pop up on the screen and have its own movements/some small things it does.
I do have a couple questions though, more for curiosity.
When you sell the operation, does that change the original starting land mass?
Also, are there any small cool details or hidden secret/things to look for or to notice?
I’m totally enjoying this app.

**Developer response:** Thank you much for your awesome review and playing Weather Farmer. There are a few variations to the land island and once you sell it things will slightly change. While the game is pretty straight forward, new planets are coming, and I'm in the process of figuring out what details that will include. Future secrets, possible.  🙃
