The only reason I don’t subscribe is I wish they had a widget. I love the cat themes and how you can add your own cats (again only if you subscribe). Which isn’t much (7.99 per year or .69 per month) Overall it’s cute and quite accurate with my local weather forecast. You also can't use most of its features, so if you want to know about wind, humidity, "feels like" temp etc you have to pay a subscription. Which is a waste of money when you can get all that info for free, you just don't get an AIed cat with pirate talk. ### 1/5 — Misleading, is not for free *2026-05-07, version 5.6.0* I just don’t like the fact that it’s advertise for free, and then we download it and it’s actually a subscription to unlock key features to keeping you and your family safe during a storm. Such as feature radar that allows you to see where a storm is heading they can give you minutes and hours to get your family to safety. They make it impossible to close the ad without clicking on it. After using this app for several years, I finally had to delete it. Giving y’all free word of mouth advertising. The accuracy is most important but I get a smile every morning when I hear the fun & timely meow alarm plus during the day when I have to check the weather. ‘Have to’ sometimes means ‘want to’! For a New Englander, during much (most?) of the year, saying that is really something! Definitely recommend.
