## What is Weather Otter?

Weather Otter helps you plan outdoor activities around the forecast—not the other way around.

Create a monitor for anything you do outside: a bike ride, morning run, hike, dog walk, or weekend errand. Name the activity, pick a place anywhere in the world, and choose the weather you actually care about. Weather Otter checks the hourly forecast and shows when conditions fit your plan.

MONITORS BUILT AROUND YOUR PLANS
Each monitor is an activity plus a location plus optional weather rules. Turn on only what matters—temperature, wind, UV index, sky conditions, or daylight-only hours. Leave criteria off and any weather counts.

HOURLY FORECAST WITH A FIT SCORE
Browse the forecast hour by hour. Each row shows how well that hour matches your monitor, which criteria passed or missed, and an overall fit score so you can compare options at a glance.

PUSH ALERTS WHEN IT’S TIME
Enable notifications and Weather Otter can alert you when matching weather is on the way—so you don’t have to keep checking the app. Alerts respect your monitor’s location and local time.

DESIGNED FOR QUICK DECISIONS
A focused, dark interface keeps monitors and forecasts easy to scan. Sign in with Apple, sync your monitors across devices, and adjust temperature and wind units in Settings.

HOW IT WORKS
Weather Otter uses forecast data and location search. You choose the place; the app does the matching math in the background.

Clearer forecasts
- Passing weather hours are grouped into easy-to-scan timeline cards; off-hours show as compact summaries instead of long hourly lists.
- Windows label Today, Tomorrow, or the weekday, and show Now when conditions are current.
- “Turns sunny” and “clouds clear” times use daylight hours, not midnight.
- Wind shows sustained speed and gusts on one line.

- See your next good weather window on each monitor card.
- When conditions already match, a highlighted card shows how long the stretch lasts.
- Criteria use simple check/X icons; monitor list supports pull-to-refresh.
