My local temperature is read fine, but you would think an app named weather could tell you what the local weather is going to be. As I sit here typing this, it is pouring rain. It has been for the last hour. You are better off walking outside and looking up. Don’t make plans using this app or you will be blindsided by downpours on 0% precip days. And that inaccuracy isn’t just for a few days out. It was good once, but has been on the decline for a while. Not only are the predictions wrong, but it doesn’t seem to update to a more appropriate forecast after it’s been proven wrong. It shows clouds on sunny days, it shows rain despite none, the only thing it seems to get right is the general temperature. I don’t know where the app pulls it’s forecast information, but you’d think we could have decent weather predictions in 2026. The app is consistently off by 10 degrees or more in current temperatures and forecasts. I is like it is seeing a different location nearby but at a higher elevation.
