## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Inaccurate Wet Bulb Calculation

*2025-06-24*

This app provides inaccurate wet bulb temperature estimates.

### 1/5 — Useless weather station

*2024-08-29*

The only weather station is a couple hundred miles away. Useless.

### 1/5 — No longer updates GPS with current iOS

*2023-06-20*

Fraudulent sale. Should be pulled from App Store. Where is Apple quality control??

### 1/5 — GPS not working

*2022-07-25*

Opened the app and it gives a location far from where I live with no ability to choose locations. Not good

### 1/5 — Wish I could give it a zero

*2021-09-01*

As others have said, the GPS does not work. It won’t even let me enter my own latitude and longitude coordinates. Absolutely useless to me unless I visit central Indiana.

### 1/5 — HVAC guy

*2015-10-01*

Terrible app. No way to change location by zip code and location services was 1000 miles off

### 1/5 — How does this cost a dollar?

*2013-04-12*

Repeated error messages...."you have an error". Well, no kidding! This app does not appear in the location services in settings so I doubt the GPS will ever connect. There is no place to input a zip code and I dont see it working in general. Suggest somebody fixes this or Apple pulls it from the app store!

### 1/5 — GPS

*2013-04-08*

GPS does not work

### 2/5 — Can’t change the location

*2020-08-18*

It’s set for one address. I moved and can’t change it to show conditions at my new location. Still seems to be working fine for the old location, futilely.

### 3/5 — Mostly Good

*2023-07-08*

I would rate this app as excellent, except it falls into the trap that many apps (and organizations) do that use an severity scale. WeatherFX doesn't show the scale, so you're left to guess what the colors mean in relation to each other. Is red worse than black or is it the other way around? Why do I have to guess at this? A simple depiction of the scale anywhere in the app would fix this fatal flaw.

Note to developer: Please fix this. An simple image would do. It doesn't need numbers against it. Just show the colors in order.

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Legit

*2025-05-30*

This is the only app that provides Wet Bulb measurements and it uses WBGT to give real-time USMC flag conditions.

### 5/5 — Wet Bulb Perfection

*2013-08-16*

This app works flawlessly on my iPad. Fast GPS acquisition and accurate data. The new weather data arrives quickly. Great fixes to an excellent app.

### 4/5 — No customer service

*2026-07-27*

I got the App, paid $2 for it. I’ve been using it for about two weeks and then just got charged $11.74 out of the blue and there’s no where to get help on the App.

### 3/5 — GPS no-go

*2013-06-15*

Update the GPS and this will be good to go. I have used this and a WBG instrument and they are very near in results.
