This could be a really useful app along with its associated hardware and mainly works but:
1. When you want to know how far below freezing it is the sensors seem to stop transmitting.
2. Around zero centigrade the app stops registering the temperature.
3. The graphing function appears to have difficulty plotting negative numbers correctly.
4. One of the sensors is not always read even though no changes have been to positions of kit.
5. Sensor number 2 (outside) often is reported as having no data for graphs even though it is recording a temperature reading.
6. Works fine for a few days and then asks for the base station to be reset. 
7. Mostly randomly, but sometimes after a reset, the graphing of recent temperature readings bears little or no relationship to the observed history of temperature records or the temperature info in the panel above the graph. 

Hopefully your wizards will get to work to improve things.

It’s been a bit flaky all year especially on the chart pages - the chart for the outdoor  temperature crashes when temp drops below 1c although the main unit is still displaying it correctly   Chart for outdoor humidity plots correctly during the missing time using the same sensor 
(iPhone 11,  IOS)

Since the latest iPad update the weather@home app needs an urgent update, the temperature and humidity are not displaying the full number? So it almost useless.

I purchased a $99 unit with the promise of mobile app connectivity on the box. It worked for a couple of hours and now won’t sync, utterly useless and does not work as advertised.

I do not enjoy writing negative reviews, but it is unfair on customers to not make them aware that this app no longer works. It renders the weather stations a very poor second best. Frustratingly without communication between the main station and you tablet or phone everything has to be done manually such as time change. I have two Oregon scientific and neither now works. THIS APP NEEDS UPDATING.

It would be OK if it worked reliably, but you just can’t rely on it.  Very regularly the bluetooth connection fails and you have to reboot the device (that’s messy).  And even when the bluetooth is working, often the temperature displayed on the unit is different to that in the app.  The end result makes it effectively unusable.

Just a glorified weather display in the house - the app doesn’t connect and there’s no support. Should be worthy of a refund for the display but apparently not. 
Avoid this company.

Every time there is an update it crashes and the App no longer recognizes the device. Usually fixed by removing the batteries but after the last update (June 2018) it’s now inoperable as nothing brings it back to life (tried removing batteries, hard reset and reinstalling the App). Don’t both buying this product as you have no certainty it will work beyond the next upgrade

UPDATE:  after sending a support email to Oregon Scientific with no response I tried the following:  I took the batteries out of the base unit for 10 seconds.  After I put the batteries back in the base unit I hit the reset button near the battery cover.  Then hit the up arrow button on the base unit to put the unit in pairing mode.  I then opened up the iOS app and hit connect.  The base unit connected.  I hope y’all see this because Oregon Scientific either doesn’t answer their emails or are way behind.  I hope y’all can get your units working correctly.  I added 1 star to my review now.  

Fine job on making the app not work with my RAR213HG.  I get an error “connect - device not found.  Yes I hit the reset button on the unit and hard rebooted my phone.  How long will this take to fix? Many months like the last time this happened?  Take it from my experience don’t buy Oregon Scientific.

Latest bug fix release still has the app locked trying to retrieve data from the device. Only a paper clip reset works ... twice a day!!!

I’ve been using this app for 17 months or so now. In some ways it has improved - particularly the history. However it’s major fault, as others have noticed, is that it will occasionally lock-up the bad-station and just show the “Loading” spinner in the app. The only way I’ve found to recover from this is to remove a battery from the base-station for a moment or two. Sometimes there’s no data-loss when doing this but other times I lose the day’s data or even data for the past week. Please fix this as the app never used to do it and it’s making me seriously consider other vendors

Weak Bluetooth signal from wx station doesn’t help. App won’t synch. Barometric pressure never changes from 30 inHG and shows no history. Need to be able to remove windows from view if they don’t function- like my barometric pressure. Attempted to contact support via link in app store - page not found. Really?! You get what you pay for is evident. Buy something that actually works.

The app connects to the Weather station but will not sync local history. The latest version has not fixed the problem on iPhone 6s running IOS 13.7  cannot recommend using the app this has been like this for the last 2years. The weather station goes through the motion and connects and does not sync at all. Displays message to reset the weather station. 

When will it be fixed to work with the latest version of IOS.

The update says fix some problems but not this major one.

Today I was given a brand new Oregon scientific BAR218HGX weather station but no matter what I try I cannot get it to pair with my iPhone using this app. Initial responses from OS support were flippant and unhelpful. Avoid.

Update a week later: after several resets and switching off Wi-fi on my iPhone I did eventually manage to pair the unit with my iPhone. However, loading history frequently fails or is corrupted eg outside sensors history is mixed with indoor unit’s. OS not that helpful and seem to be blaming interference with other equipment but it’s the only Bluetooth connection we have in the house. If it’s our Wi-fi then there really is no hope of it ever working reliably.

This really works. Just handy to track temperature from the phone. One really good benefit is that the phone automatically sets the correct time on the station. Worth it just for that.

The weather station and outdoor sensor have both worked extremely well for years. The app occasionally loses contact with the station but putting the station into pairing mode always restores it and all relevant information is displayed in the app and the time is synced to the station. I’ve used this set up for over 6 years now and have been very pleased.

I have an EMR211 which has worked well with this app. But now the latest version has stopped the Humidity readings from displaying. I have 3 sensors for temperature and humidity but can only read the temperature. 

Why hiding the humidity, as stated, in the latest update is an improvement, I’ll never know

I used to have problems with this app crashing after updating the data. I have reinstalled it, yet again, and 🤞it is working fine.

It is a great app for the weather station. Very handy to be able to find out what the temperature outside is, while I am lying in bed! The history function is really useful too. 

If it manages to work without crashing, I’ll update this to five stars.

Reported June 2017 on iPhone 6S that App crashed when receiving History. After Dec '17 updated App have deleted & reinstall app, changed batteries & reset the station. After re-establishing connection can now receive history and App doesn't crash.

Update 03/09/16: Was having all kinds of trouble with my main base station so tried moving a speaker that was near it and that seemed to have solved my problems. Now bluetooth and all three remotes work all the time.

Update 11/15/17: Now with my iPhone on IOS 11 the app does not work very well. It is getting stuck on Receiving History and keeps shutting down. I have to delete it and re-loaded it onto my iPhone for it to show up to date history then I have to just repeat the process over and over and over. Please fix.
