It's been years since the last update, this used to be a great app but is sooooo old now. Are you listening developers??? ### 2/5 — Waste of money *2015-11-07, version 1.3* I wanted an app that gave me up-to-date information, particularly about frontal systems, since my work is critically weather dependent. Having used the Weather Online website, I spent my money on this app with some confidence. (The website gives 3 hourly synoptic updates, as compared with 6 hours from the Met Office). The app misrepresents my position on the map by about 30 miles, which leads me to question whether the map overlays are positioned accurately. Because the regional maps are preset, I am on the westerly edge of the map and cannot see oncoming weather from the prevailing direction. I have to use the national chart, so I don't get the detail. Yes there are better looking weather apps but I keep coming back to this app especially to use the timescales radar images which really are an accurate way to predict when rain will pass over your location. When setting the cities, if a town shares a postcode with another one it will both as being the same place! However, my iPhone is now telling me that the next iOS will kill it off. Last update was 2011. The radar page is very useful when playing golf. ### 5/5 — Vastly under-rated ***** *2010-12-02, version 0* One element of this app makes it indispensable - the radar page - this is no more and no less a pocket version of the same type of systems used by Formula 1 teams etc for predicting likelyhood of rain at the track. In my case it allows me to predict whether my workplace is about to get inundated with a new batch of snow - fairly critical for an airport. Used in earnest at the beginning of the year, and unexpectedly back in use at the end as well. Basically the radar picture gives historical data on rain-bearing clouds. When viewed at regional level, you will get a good idea of whether the next shower/front will hit you. At country and continent level, you get a an overall view of how the whole weather system is moving, and indeed at continent level you can work our where you are in relation to any high/low pressure area in that part of the hemisphere. I have to be honest and say I don't use it for anything else at any other time of the year - but there must be lots of other organisations out there, looking for quick and easy access to such info?! ### 5/5 — Brill app *2010-01-02, version 0* Great app but how do you zoom in on the radar or map? Anyone know? ### 5/5 — Très bonne app pour les férus de météorologie *2009-11-05* Je suis fan de météo et j'adore le radar de pluie, mis à jour toutes les 15 minutes, vraiment très pratique et ludique pour voir dans combien de temps et d'ou va venir la pluie ! Il me tarde ce printemps et cet été, quand il y aura des orages, on les verra se créer et évoluer en quasi direct. J'attendais celà depuis bien longtemps.
