Over a month now since they admitted there’s an issue with precipitation not showing in the 2 day cloud and precipitation map forecast. Every time I re-report it I get asked the same questions before they admit again it’s a fault at their end. I’d just renewed my premium subscription too. Been a premium user for many years. This has been going on so long now I don’t think anyone is working on a fix for this issue. This was always my favourite weather app. The one I always used and trusted. So, now there’s just a blue dot for Swindon and a dark grey background. I can’t zoom in or out. Every time there’s an update, something else stops working or disappears. ### 1/5 — Horribly inaccurate, all the time. *2026-07-02, version 4.9.13* Been checking this for half a year and not once has it got the weather remotely right. For example, say the stock weather app says it is 25 degrees, weather pro will say 14 or something (the 25 would be the correct weather). ### 1/5 — Was great, now terrible *2026-07-01, version 4.9.13* I have subscribed for several years now as this was once an excellent app, but lately it has become pretty awful. It is now buggy, crashes frequently, shows incorrect data, and keeps forgetting I have subscribed so it only shows a single week’s forecast. Needless to say I won’t be resubscribing when it’s due. Update 5/26 ….. Received an email suggesting I remove and reinstall the app which I have now done and it still won’t show the radar images etc. Update 6/26 … My subscription ended so I lost the ability to see 2 weeks of forecast which is expected, BUT, some of the radar screen now works (previously didn’t work at all). ### 1/5 — App no longer seems to work *2026-06-28, version 4.9.13* This app no longer seems to work as it once did. It will not play a sequence of images of weather across the UK covering hours, it now only shows a period of 20 or so days and no images change when you drag the arrow to play a time sequence. The images are also extremely disjointed and fragmented. I have no idea why the app no longer well and I am annoyed that I have paid the subscription for another year for an app that is pretty useless now :-( ### 1/5 — Totally lost it! *2026-06-23, version 4.9.13* Used to be my go to weather app but they have fiddled around with renewals and generally made it difficult for me to use. Full of bugs ### 1/5 — This, once great, app has become utterly useless *2026-06-23, version 4.9.13* What makes this especially disappointing is that the app used to be excellent. For many years it was my preferred weather application and I happily recommended it to others. Today, I would not trust it to tell me whether I need a coat, an umbrella or a bottle of sunscreen. Somewhere along the line, a product that was once professional, reliable and genuinely useful has become inaccurate, unreliable and, frankly, pointless. I have finally given up on it. A weather app that cannot tell the difference between 20°C and 29°C has lost the right to be called a weather app ### 1/5 — Radar complaints *2026-06-22, version 4.9.13* Like numerous other reviews I also do not get the radar weather maps. Having been a subscriber for 4 years I will delete app when my subscription expires unless you sort this error. ### 1/5 — Used to be good. Now rubbish and a rip off *2026-06-22, version 4.9.13* No longer as accurate or functional as it used to be. Plus no remote sensing views work, no radar, nothing. Moving to PredictWind app and PredictWind.com. Which is almost as good as MeteoEarth was. Very sad. ### 1/5 — RADAR unusable *2026-06-20, version 4.9.13* Since Weatherpro closed the subscription based system, the radar no longer works. I’ve complained about this to Weatherpro a number of times and they say they’re trying to fix it - but never do. Being as I’ve used this as a handy back-up for flying in the UK for many years, this used to be a great app, now it’s reduced to the same basic level of other mediocre weather apps. What a shame. :( ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No map *2026-08-18, version 5.0.0* A month on from my previous review, there’s still just a blue dot for Swindon and a dark grey background, and I still can’t zoom in or out. There’s a few luminous green blobs tonight (presumably rain?) but I can only see a tiny area around the blue spot of Swindon. Very poor show. ### 1/5 — Renew *2026-08-16, version 5.0.0* I have been charged twice. I upgraded and when I launched the app it charged me again. Once to Apple and once to Apple.com. The app support link doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Changes following new versions *2026-08-09, version 5.0.0* Why do we have to accept changes without choice on an upgrade. I used to like the maps showing clouds and rainfall. Now we have radar which is not as meaningful to the older generation. Is it not possible to offer a choice for us older generation? ### 1/5 — What happened? *2026-07-30, version 5.0.0* I used to love this app and based on that memory I subscribed on 14th July. Unfortunately I now realise that it is much worse. The temperatures are always between 2 and 3° lower than the actual temperature and the temperature provided by other Weather apps. Also there is no information about UV provided which is essential to me. When I go into my Apple account to make sure that it doesn't resubscribe next year WeatherPro is not listed so I can't even cancel it. ### 1/5 — Weather forecast now poor !! *2026-07-30, version 5.0.0* I used to love this app and was more than prepared to subscribe. It states in its own tag line The weather authority…. I have more luck looking out of the window than using this app. It’s sister app Rain today is just as bad. I’ve had it that I am being rained on and the app telling me no rain in the next hour. I am going back to using my eyes and my index finger in the air. ### 1/5 — WeatherPro used to be great, now worse than useless. *2026-07-30, version 5.0.0* I previously gave WeatherPro a worthy five stars and have paid for premium for well over a decade, when it was under the Meteo umbrella. It’s now worse than useless, and certainly no longer worth the premium subscription. It should also be noted that the app isn’t universal, so if you want to use it on an iPad as well as an iPhone you have to download a separate app and pay for premium twice. I’m a premium subscriber and have been for years - this was a really good app. What’s going on? ### 1/5 — No *2026-07-22, version 5.0.0* I got it for years and was always great but recently it’s a nightmare, I pay for the premium version but it’s impossible to see the maps since a while , no hourly update video, they repair it for one month and next month we are back to zero. I wrote them several times, but they take ages to answer and there are always the same excuses. If I pay for years an app I would like to get what I pay for. Jetzt wollte ich das wieder werden und stellte mit Enttäuschung fest, dass die Live Video Karten überhaupt nicht funktionieren. Nach Aussage des Supports ist das Problem bekannt. Aber man kann noch nicht sagen, wann das Problem vom Support gelöst werden wird. Es hört sich an, als ob da keiner dran arbeitet. Apple hat die Rückzahlung abgelehnt warum auch immer.
