Please fix this as it makes my subscription worthless ### 1/5 — No option to create account *2019-10-18, version 1.2.17* We downloaded the app. The first time you open it, it tells you all the things you can do, but they only provide a login button. Anytime you open the app after that, it only shows the login page. However the iOS app is one of the buggiest weather apps I have. It would have been nice to know it was a subscription service before you provide the information. I will not deal wuith a company that is deceptive like this. ### 2/5 — Meh. *2015-07-09, version 1.0.6* It's a start, I guess. WeatherTAP is THE weather solution for desktop/laptop users, but they are still many years behind on their mobile platform. Very, very basic (and cheesy) radar functionality. Radar site selection is painful-- way too many taps-- and all that effort is rewarded with a blurry, low-resolution image. No storm data; nothing even scraping the surface of what the RadarLab products can do on the desktop. Very disappointing. I guess if you're already paying for WeatherTAP, no harm in downloading the app, but if space is a concern save room for a far better app like Radarscope. ### 1/5 — Can't Even Log In... *2015-04-06, version 1.0.5* Well just like the previous review this isn't going to be a happy one. I've been a paying Weathertap customer for nearly ten years and I was excited to see they had finally developed an iOS app. Sadly the app doesn't work. Put in my username and password, hit log in, nothing...zip...zero. Double and triple checked I was using the correct login credentials sure enough everything is correct. Please WT please fix the app. I'm tired of having to open the browser every time I need to check the weather. ### 1/5 — Sign in every time screen changes!! *2015-01-28, version 1.0.5* I was excited when I saw this app. Then I used it. I am a paying weathertap service customer. Every time you change screens you have sign in again. There is no settings page to enable auto sign in! This app could have been great. This app has been shaky at best for a couple years now. It has now become unusable. Any attempt to manipulate the radar screen causes it to jump to the upper left-hand corner and freeze the app. ### 1/5 — Very unstable app *2022-07-13, version 1.3.01* I have been a customer for over 10 years and really enjoyed the Zoom app. But this app is worthless to me. It keeps stalling. No data when using the zoom equivalent (radar lab mobile) As a Motorcyclist, I really need an app that can follow my GPS location and show me where the weather is going to be. I can’t be pressing all kinds of buttons. As it is right now it is totally worthless. ### 1/5 — Totally Useless *2022-06-14, version 1.3.01* I have been a WeatherTAP subscriber for years. With a computer web browser, it is still great. The app is totally worthless. Opens with the current weather. Tap on radar and it locks up with no image. Tried deleting the app and reinstalling. Worked a few times and now back to freezing before a radar image will load. Beginning to wonder if, perhaps, I’m paying too much for this service. ### 1/5 — Version 1.3 FAIL - App no longer functional since update *2021-06-19, version 1.3* Version 1.3 of this app was automatically installed as an update to my previously installed version running on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 14.6 (18F72). Since updating to Version 1.3, I have been unable to login using the WEATHERTAP app. In an attempt to remedy this issue, I removed Version 1.3 and executed a phone reset and a clean reinstall of the app, the result of which was still unsuccessful. I continue to be unable to login using the app. The web version of WEATHERTAP still works flawlessly for me. ### 1/5 — Freezes at login *2021-06-19, version 1.3* Worthless app now. It has always been finicky about logins, but I thought it was easy enough to close the app and log back in every once in a while. It is also successful on an android tablet. It is also successful on a Windows laptop. Just seems to be at least the iPhone app that is having trouble. I do not have an iPad. Newsflash 11:55 AM, ET, June 19, 2021. The app in the App Store Head instead of a GET or OPEN, had UPDATE. I updated it and the app now works again. ### 3/5 — Not bad but…. *2024-05-24, version 1.3.01* I have been trying to change the default settings for the radar tab and after I change them and click on save, it just diverts back to the original settings and won’t save. I have even deleted and reinstalled the app. On my android phone it works as it should. ### 3/5 — Bad update *2021-06-18, version 1.3* While the app hasn’t been updated for a while, it was at least serviceable. The current update now freezes at the login screen so I have to use the browser-based service. This actually works pretty well anyway. But if they have supposedly improved the app, it would be nice to be able to use it! ### 2/5 — Ok on Laptop, amateurish on iPhone *2024-04-28, version 1.3.01* I have used WeatherTap for several years and was happy. Three years ago, I started attempting its use on an iPhone - frustrated would be a mild description with mobile performance: loading issues, lockups, speed, and horribly inconsistent performance. I quit and did not renew last year and have been using RadarSc@@@ instead. However it will drop your location and go find a new one? Many times, the radar image loads in the upper left hand corner of the display and there’s nothing you can do with it. Weather tap suggested to turn off feature from iPhone they say Apple has disrupted software which they will not fix. However, iOS version now fails to load satellite; neither loops or static images load. I’m sure this is a software problem as it worked fine on iOS 14, but broke with iOS 15. Considering ending subscription if this app can’t be updated more frequently; at least on pace with major iOS updates.
