I changed all of my settings to what the app recommends to get notifications. I waited for severe weather to come to my area, and I never got a single warning. ### 2/5 — Was good,update ruined it *2026-08-21, version 1.8.1* I’m a certified weather spotter in this app was amazing for following the track of storms and seeing alerts for tornadoes and the other NWS alerts. The all white menus hurt my eyes. ### 4/5 — excellent app. *2026-07-28, version 1.8.1* I am an advamced skywarn storm spotter, I have no problem recommending this app. the one nitpick I have is that with apple voiceover as I am a blind spotter, when you ad locations you need screen recognition but that's simple enough other than that its excellent. I spotted a bug and they fixed it very quickly. said something at night, woke up the next morning and was fixed. these guys are great and I am very very picky with my weather data. only other app that comes close to this is wxl23 and if you've never used that app its one of the best apps out there. ### 2/5 — Complicated to use *2026-07-27, version 1.8.1* I love the concept and being able to look at different radar stations, depending on where you are and what not. but the app itself is so hard to use. the map has so many different settings and all these settings are in completely different places. It has the best design and layout. As someone who works in the meteorology department I understand all the tools and still find to the best. It’s radar is top notch and high quality, the composite tool is great for looking at past events, I use the satellite tool to post what storms look like all the time, the models tool is absolutely wonderful with everything you can think of. The outlooks tool is also great for looking at all forecast on the national levels. And don’t even get me started on the burger menu and all its tools. And oh I forgot the warning menu. Oh, and even all the customization available! I could go on all day about this app. AND ITS STILL GETTING UPDATES ALL THE TIME. It’s hard to not rate this as a 5 star. Nothing comes close. ### 5/5 — Best Weather App of All Time! *2026-07-19, version 1.8.1* This is an amazing weather app. It has everything you need to know all in one app! It also includes SPC outlooks, live webcams, live storm chasers, every single model you can imagine. Also with Y’all Mode, you can share your location with Ryan Hall, Y’all and Yallbot. Also, you can get even MORE features with the plus and pro subscriptions! I haven’t even mentioned half of the features. This app is always updating too. I definitely recommend this app. There is sooo many features that it’s surprising that I only have ONE complaint about it, and that’s the webcams. It’s not that they don’t work, but there’s none in Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Montana, Nebraska, Texas, and some more. Other than that the webcams are fully functional and you definitely should get this app. ### 5/5 — Awesome *2026-07-09, version 1.8.1* I use this app everyday. However, as feedback, I have had ongoing issues with the startup screen not loading and having to restart more than once; and also the storm chaser location tracking mode not following automatically, without having to manually refresh the screen. Also, it would be nice if turning on the locate feature was one easy quick button, instead of hidden in a menu, especially when I am driving in the middle of particularly nasty weather. I am having one issue though when I record a MP3 for the screen recording on the app. I cannot send it to GroupMe. Can y’all fix this? As someone from Canada, it’s hard to find weather radar apps that are free or low-cost, include watches and warnings, and can show so many possible tilts for radar. I have yet to find a better radar app than this. However, for whatever reason, even when I select different units for altitude, it’s still measured in kilofeet regardless. Please fix this. Additionally, it would be helpful to be able to change the tilt without needing to open the radar menu every time. Other than that, the app works very well, and I would highly recommend it. ### 5/5 — Missing info *2026-06-28, version 1.8.1* The Gulf of America is labeled wrong, but we love the app. No pop up ads like others ### 5/5 — Beats MyRadar! *2026-06-25, version 1.8.1* Been a user and subscriber to MyRadar for a few years, but I wanted to try another app. Then I find WeatherWise, coming in with radar to radar reflectivity, velocity, and other radar products all for FREE, compared to MyRadar. Instantly WeatherWise was a hit to me. The continuous updates the team have been putting out are great. The amount of storm chasers I can instantly watch via the app is useful to see what a nasty storm on radar is looking like. The recent update of iOS notifications support and critical alert notifications support has finally pushed me to replace MyRadar with WeatherWise. Definitely recommend this app to any weather enthusiasts. I want just my area or even just my state. It seems there is no way to do this and the only way to remove the 400+ warnings/alerts is to turn them off completely which is counter-intuitive for a weather app…🤨 UPDATE: Thank you for the response, I found the menu you for setting for the weather alerts widget it says “There are no settings available for this widget”… ### 1/5 — No Storm Tracks *2026-03-11, version 1.4.1* No ability to turn on and off storm tracks. WeatherWise has far superior radar, ability to enable storm tracks, and provides weather alerts.
