Also, I can’t understand why the iPad app does not show the hour-by-hour Forecast Scroller which the iPhone app has… It is the most useful part of the iPhone app for daily use. Your app is one of 3 I use as a cross reference as to how I enjoy my forecast, where or not I need to wear my swimming custom or to wander about with a brolly and a pair of Wellies. Yes all good, blah blah but there is one thing missing with you all. There are no synoptic charts any more. So please restore! This app will drain your battery in the background! ### 1/5 — Legacy version was better *2026-07-30, version 7.5.2* I’ve upgraded from an iPhone XS to 17 Pro, and have realised the old Weatherzone+ is no longer supported on newer iOS versions. In addition, the paid version is subscription, and is no longer a one-time payment. The new layout requires more scrolling. Even with ads removed it’s not as clean an experience. It’s clear that the UX design intentionally prioritises a sub-par experience to incentivise users to subscribe. If the UI was actually improved, this could be a defendable decision. It’s an unfortunate disappointment. Maybe things might shift back to a user-first experience… But for now, I’d recommend looking elsewhere ### 1/5 — App Needs Updating *2026-07-27, version 7.5.2* This app is very glitchy now and hasn’t worked properly ever since the last IOS update.
