When you set the alerts it’s not weau voices like wqow does. Also when you test the severe alert it says an avalanche warning has been issued for my location. Weird. I see no need for two apps so I’ll have to stick with wqow. I sure miss the days where we had alerts on the computer from weau. (I don’t remember specifically what I didn’t like.) So I will share two reasons I am going to delete this app after I post this—in the hope that something will be done. 1. Waaay to many ads. I had to search each screen to find the info I wanted. The page on my phone is so busy I didn’t want to stay there. 2. I don’t want what the radar says happened in the last hour. I want to know what is going to happen now and in the next 6 hours (I have this in my usual weather radar…also from the NWS.) I played around with all the menus and couldn’t find anything about future radar at all. Staying with a different weather app in Eau Claire ### 1/5 — Warnings *2020-04-07, version 4.10.2705* I keep getting warnings for a severe thunderstorm 'in my area' it's not anywhere close to my area, Or coming in my direction. I have the settings on for Eau Claire. So why am I getting alerts for northern Wisconsin? And on top of that they make us watch a 13 second ad before the video starts. I’ve learned how to get what I need from this one, and I’m not criticizing it because I haven’t given it a chance, but it’s pure overkill. It’s been in place a couple of weeks, and to me, it seems you decided to fix something that wasn’t broken. Received 4 weather alerts this morning in less then a minute, all for the same thing. Then the video fails to play on all of them (this is an ongoing problem). One forecaster needs more practice or possibly a different occupation, it’s almost painful to watch.
