Much use a windows device for that. ### 2/5 — Not the greatest app *2016-01-10, version 1.52* After the most recent update the app crashes as soon as you open it. The layout and user interface could do with a redesign. I discovered it by accident a couple of years after buying the drive and wish I'd found it sooner. There is, however, one killer issue: No upload. Whatsoever. So you can download a file, pass it over to pages, edit it, but then you can't push it back up to the home drive. Ooops. I bought a Buffalo 2TB Linkstation 6 months ago from Newegg, dirt cheap. Apple wants $100/yr for 55GB of Icloud storage, plus $25/yr to share it. Hey, I have 1TB of music on the Linkstation. I download this app. Hot Dog! So, now I am playing 1TB of music on this app. It shows the song being played, plays what you point to instantly, can shuffle, or repeat. No, it isn't Itunes. But...Dude!...it's free. I can go up to 3TB. It is good to have all my files available anywhere I go. ### 5/5 — Fantastic *2011-07-26, version 1.20* I was looking for an application to access all my pictures videos and music, I tried quite a few some worked with music but not photos and so on, it never occurred to me that there was an actual application specifically for my buffalo NAS. This is a fantastic application with very little setting up I was able to access all my photos and music wirelessly from my NAS to my iPad anywhere in the house and garden, it's fast and has a very nice interface and best of all it allows you to save the content to your iPad and vice versa. There is one small downside with my movies it only seems to be able to play mp4 files, AVI XVID will not play but this can be easy solved if I just convert them to mp4 or maybe future updates may address this. I am amazed that this application was available and for free it definitely convinces me that I made the right choice buying a Buffalo NAS and shows the continued support that Buffalo have for their products, when I need another NAS its definitely going to be another Buffalo NAS. If you have any trouble getting this to work make sure you have upnp enabled on your router I wrongly assumed that I had it enabled and could not get it to work on the simple set up, as soon as it was enabled it worked straight away. If you have upnp enabled then you can get this working in under 5mins. Thanks Buffalo this has enhanced my iPad greatly. ### 5/5 — Perfect *2011-04-02, version 1.11* Spot on.
