## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not Happy

*2022-10-02*

I purchased this app years ago, now I only have access to /b/. A prompt is letting me know I have to buy access to the rest of the phonemes AGAIN.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2022-01-04*

This worked well for several years and then all of a sudden it glitched and no longer works.

### 1/5 — Can't buy sounds

*2016-02-10*

Can't buy sounds. Says "content being updated". Fix this. I want to give you my money and use this app for work. I am using the Canadian store.

**Developer response:** Sorry for late response. Apple just recently allowed developers to reply to reviews. This issue you experienced has been corrected.

### 2/5 — Won’t restore purchases

*2021-01-15*

I had this app on our older iPad mini, I wanted to get my kids to use on our new iPad but I can’t restore our sounds purchases, it’s asking me to buy them again on this iPad.
Please

### 2/5 — Not recommended.

*2013-03-01*

I am an experienced Speech and Language Therapist. Nothing wrong with the game ideas but I would certainly not recommend - many of the target words are obscure, unachievable, and clinically unsuitable.

### 3/5 — Boring games

*2019-01-31*

I was excited to download this, as I like having different options for my students during sessions to keep their interest, but I cannot see the point in most of the games. I typically have 2 students in a session and they love competing, but these games are frustrating. It’s just tap on an item and a picture pops up. Why aren’t you assigned a race car so you can actually compete?

It’s also disconcerting to see that there are no responses to comments. Do the inventors have no interest in what the customer thinks would improve their app?

### 3/5 — Okay, but...

*2017-08-12*

I really like the features of his app - being able to record audio, graphing, etc... but, most of my children do not know the many of the stimulus words Among the final /b/ words are 'cab' and 'cub', and my students call them 'lion' and 'car', respectively. I wish there were preschool friendly stimulus words.

### 3/5 — Good app... poor sound... no tech support

*2014-10-13*

This is a great app to target sounds in all levels; however, the app does not have the capability to transfer the sound to a Bluetooth speaker. This feature improves sound quality, consequently sound perception. I have contacted Super Duper twice about it, more than 6 months ago. This is an easy fix, but nothing has been done about it. No attention has been given to an important element in speech therapy : sound perception!

### 3/5 — A little Boring

*2014-09-29*

I've used this app for a while now. It is convenient in that responses can be judged in various ways. However, my students have become bored with what is basically the same format over and over.

### 3/5 — from a disappointed SLP

*2012-10-16*

I was thrilled to see there was an app with 3000 artic pictures in it…AND it included games! What the artic app world needs is something fun, the way Splingo is for language. Unfortunately, this app is not so fun. For the kids who are really into cars, I guess they might be entertained for a while by that one screen; otherwise, I'm not tempted to get the full version anymore. The flashcards are good, but popping up and taking up the whole screen is not necessary and actually distracts from the task. I also felt there was also some strange vocabulary, like "foot rub". Ideally, we could have more customizability so the only words that show up are things we want our students to see. Lastly, it would be great if we had the ability to add our own pictures.

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Pre school slp

*2013-11-08*

This app keeps the attention of preschoolers. All the games are quick..lots of talking for target sounds time vs games where more time is spent playing with little talking. Worth the money

### 4/5 — Please restore previous purchase

*2020-04-02*

I purchased Webber Photo Artic years ago. I have just bought a new iPad and transferred the program onto it but it shows only the free version. How do I restore the full program that I have already bought?

### 4/5 — Word positions

*2014-05-09*

I love this app! I only wish that I could have the goal listed with the sound in all word positions in words, phrases, and sentences, and that it would break it down for me for the different positions and the percentages. As it is now I have to either do the math myself or make each word position a separate goal. Overall, excellent, I love being able to record students and let them tell me how they think they did!

### 3/5 — Super Duper Articulation Castle

*2012-10-14*

I think this app has had a lot of thought put into it. The data collection side seems great. I tried creating graphs and that worked just fine--easy, in fact! I really want to give it a try, but I hesitate for the following reason: I'm not sure about the arcade games. Popping the balloon is fun for kids, but there's no "purpose" to the other games. The kids just push a button and are given a word.My 4 year old was bored after a short try and I hesitate to spend the money on yet another articulation app....
