Say, I want to upload a file to my WebDAV folder. I created a corresponding connection in the app, and I could actually browse my WebDAV server and preview my files there and everything worked perfectly fine. But then coming back to my use case - I want to upload a file there. How do i do this? There is an icon in the top right corner of the app, when I click on it, there is a pop up window with “recent” files. But those “recent” files are absolutely not recent. And the file that I want to upload - the file that I just created - is not there. And there is no option to browse folders, it only shows “recent”-not-recent files. But then I thought I could select my file in the “Files” app and click on the “Send to Web Dav Nav+” to send it into your app. I do this, but then I am looking at spinning circle for some time and getting an error message that WebDavNav could not connect to the server. I go back to the app itself to check if server is available, and there everything totally works and connects to the server. When I am trying to “open with WebDavNav+” from “Files”, the app just crashes. So… I tried all options known to me, and I could not upload a file. I am running iPadOS 15 on iPad Air. Is this something that was already reported? Should I just wait for an update? I’ve barely used any of its massive feature set, but look forward to doing so. 2 Requests & 1 Problem * Once connected, I find the icons in the lower left to be very tiny and confusing. A text label next to each would be *very* helpful. * In trying to connect to your also useful WebDAVNav Server using a self-signed certificate it made—and I approved in Keychain Access—I could publish from the Calendar app on my Mac, but trying to connect to it from this iOS app tells me “an SSL error occurred” even though I’ve turned on Prefs > Security > Trust all SSL certificates. * It could be much more secure to trust on a host-by-host basis instead of a global “Trust Everything” setting. Thank you very much! ### 5/5 — Simply brilliant! *2019-03-01* I have my own NAS (Synology) at home which is, most of the time, 5,000 km from where I usually roam. This little bit of software allows me access to pretty much most of my files at home. I can download music, videos, documents, as I can also upload, all incredibly fast and flawlessly from my iPad Pro and iPhone X. And this is just the tip of iceberg when it comes to functionality. You can have several servers defined OR the same server with different logins and it’s just one click and your connected. ### 5/5 — Super! *2018-01-28* Sehr gut! ### 5/5 — Best webdav server *2018-01-15* Our law firm' data storage policy prohibits the placing confidential data on remote servers, so the use of this app is mandatory. That policy is based upon our understanding that frequently changed strong passwords and shared secrets beat advertising claims of "strong military-grade encryption". The problem is not the real or illusory strength of encryption, but rather infinite data duplication by way of constant backups, just like email. This is why Hillary Clinton and Mike Pence both look like idiots. So if you don't understand all of this and do not have a working knowledge of Server App, use a good IT consultant to set it up. While accessing a remote server and using the files stored there over a wireless cellular VPN connection is never bulletproof, troubleshooting has always led to a spontaneous VPN failure or server glitch requiring a server adjustment or reboot. You need an iOS to computer screen sharing app to solve server problems remotely. This app is intuitive, fast and feature-rich. The interface is very close to a direct or LAN computer screen sharing session. You can create, delete, delete, and move folders and files. You can view all files in the built-in iOS viewer. You can open, edit and save (locally or remotely) Word, Pages, Excel and Numbers documents. I have not used the built-in iOS server. We run Yosemite and Server App 5.XX on our server and iOS 10 on iPhone 6 phones and iPad Air 2s. We have used this app since we ran Mountain Lion and maybe iOS 5 on iPhone 4 phones and iPad 2s. This is also one of the few software publishers that does not seem to release alpha or beta updates to use its customers computers to involuntarily test them. ### 5/5 — Great stuff *2017-11-11* I use this for my business, I’m on the road a lot and need to update files and write reports etc. Find it very useful to access my files on my NAS and it’s very quick and always connects.
