One needs to install a server on the computer side, which makes it just like all the other apps out there that I don't trust on my computer. Deceitful advertising. I believe all the reviews that say it does is a scam by the people who made this app! I want my money back!!!!! I tried all the options it says to start the your WeBe server & it never connects, always says server took to long & timed out. I very upset as a consumer! This is the only product that advertises Bluetooth mouse not just WiFi which I needed. I’m may contact Apple to report this product as a fraud! If you would like to try the newest version, we would love to hear what you think. ### 1/5 — Might not be what you think it is... *2018-01-10, version 1.5.1* I bought WeBe thinking I was downloading a bluetooth keyboard that I could easily use to control a bluetooth-enabled device—specifically, an Apple TV. I know that Apple TV has it's own app, but I needed to change the wifi settings on my Apple TV and didn't have the original remote any longer. Apple recommended downloading a bluetooth keyboard to make the change. Anyhow, this is the wrong application for this task. Seems to be more for controling a computer with your phone. And, unlike a lot of apps that are ready to go upon download, this one requires downloading code to your computer to make it work. So, if you're looking for a way to control your comuptuer with your phone... I guess this is an option, though there may be better options. I downloaded/paid for it and deleted it in less than a minute. ### 1/5 — NO BLUETOOTH! FALSE ADVERTISING! *2017-10-17, version 1.5* What a waste of $2.99!!! Also you can use wifi or USB. Important information is that you need to download the software to the PC also. Once that is done I had no problems with using it on Bluetooth. Next installed WeBe App on iPhone. Started WeBe server on PC and then WeBe iPhone app. Was up and running in no time flat without any issues. This is a great app. It works exactly as described. It basically makes your PC into touch screen on your iPhone/iPod. That's pretty cool. My only suggestion would be on the PC install; be nice if the user was asked if they want a shortcut created on the desktop. I had this set up and working within minutes. It's simply a matter of following the clear instructions. ### 5/5 — Solution to no wifi!! *2011-04-11, version 1.2* Wow! This worked great! I had to do a presentation somewhere where there was no wifi. I had a program running on my MacBook pro (Prezi) that I had needed to use my iPod touch to advance the presentation progress remotely. I usually did this no problem using a wifi network. In this case I simply (and I mean simply) created an ad-hoc network on my MacBook, connected my iPod to that same network, opened both the software and app and the MacBook and iPod touch were communicating!
