### 3/5 — I’m an old guy, who wishes you get with the rest of the world.

*2026-07-05, version 4.9.5*

I am a pretty Old School Weber guy. I use kettles or WSM for almost everything. Your IGrill thermometers are great, EXCEPT: just make it easier to simply see what my probe temps are. I just want to open the damn app, and see what’s what. I don’t want want to build a cook, and have the damn thing tell me I am too hot, when it’s on a grate. And it I do use a probe in the meat, I don’t want the thing dinging at me every two minutes, because my shoulder or butt is 191…… (Done for you, maybe, I have 10 ish degrees to go)

You make a great product line. I’m hooked. Been so for 30+ years of BBQ’ing. Just make the damn thing tell me what my temps are, when I open the app.

### 2/5 — Limited meat selection

*2026-06-02, version 4.9.5*

1/ There’s chicken, but only boneless or whole. Where’s the chicken breast with bone and skin?
2/ Why can’t the temperature be calibrated a couple degrees since the unit is not truly accurate.
3/ Only store bought fish. No option for game fish like pickerel and trout.
4/ Please add imperial or metric option from within the app.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t tell you when the battery is dying.

*2026-05-25, version 4.9.5*

Works good. Doesn’t tell you when the battery is dying which it should be able to figure out.

### 3/5 — I like it, but… please!

*2026-05-01, version 4.9.5*

I’ve had this for a few years, and while it’s worked consistently for me, if they’re still updating the app, one thing that would make it much better would be support for *live activities* on the phone and watch apps. If they’re did this, I’d rate it a 5/5!

### 2/5 — Great when it connects

*2026-03-19, version 4.9.5*

I liked this product so much when it came on a new grill that I bought a second unit and retrofitted it onto my other grill.
But if I forget to set my phone down an live without it for the duration of grilling and walk a little too far away then the app disconnects. That’s fine, but it doesn’t reconnect without my quitting the app, shutting off the device and starting everything again. This makes it SUCK. More frustration than benefit.

### 4/5 — iPhone app feedback

*2026-02-14, version 4.9.5*

Hi there, great app, but any chance you could get the temp to display on the Lock Screen to save opening the phone to check. Thx

### 3/5 — Too much data entry in the UI

*2025-12-30, version 4.9.5*

Instead of showing the temp of the meats, you have to hit stop, find whatever it is your cooking, then hit “start cook”

Not very streamlined.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2025-11-18, version 4.9.4*

Not working since update

### 4/5 — Annoying

*2025-11-15, version 4.9.4*

Why is it so difficult to set app to stay on????

### 1/5 — Update broke it

*2025-11-15, version 4.9.4*

This used to be great, but since the last update the app becomes non-functional. I cannot click on anything and it remains frozen. I’m ready to move on from Weber’s thermometer as other products have far surpassed it.

### 1/5 — Locks up

*2025-11-11, version 4.9.4*

App locks up when clicking on the temp for details. iPhone 15 pro max. iOS 26.1. It’s pretty much useless without the app.

### 1/5 — Annoying to use

*2025-11-09, version 4.9.4*

Annoying to use

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Won’t stop beeping

*2026-08-06, version 4.9.5*

The app will beep at your every few minutes when you’re almost done. There’s no way to pause, mute, or stop it. I found people complaining online about this four years ago. Highly annoying.

### 1/5 — Needs work - what good is the app if I can’t walk more than 10ft away?

*2026-06-07, version 4.9.5*

When you step out of Bluetooth range and then come back, the app refuses to reconnect and show temperatures…even if you close it out and restart.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-04-18, version 4.9.5*

Downloaded app it switched my I grill 2 to Celsius and can not switch it back

### 1/5 — No longer works properly

*2025-12-25, version 4.9.5*

I’ve been using the Weber grill mate for a few years, but something has gone wrong with it. I set the filet temp to medium, 140 degrees, started the temperature measurement, and it spun around the temperature dial in about 5 seconds. Have to throw it away, even though it’s probably only been used 20 times.

### 1/5 — Could be much better

*2025-11-29, version 4.9.5*

Temp alarm goes off degree by degree, multiple times per degree. One would think this could be customizable.

### 1/5 — Broken by latest update

*2025-11-24, version 4.9.4*

The latest update has broken the app. It will freeze before setup can be completed. Please release a patch.

### 1/5 — App no longer works

*2025-11-22, version 4.9.4*

We were very happy with the app. But it no longer works. Hopefully this will be fixed with the next update.

### 1/5 — App no longer works

*2025-11-22, version 4.9.4*

After setting a temp, when you click on the probe, the whole app locks up rendering this app + device useless. In order to smoke meat this week, I’ll have to buy a competitors device.

### 1/5 — Horrible, App doesn’t work anymore

*2025-11-21, version 4.9.4*

Don’t buy a Weber thermometer otherwise one day you won’t be able to use the app

### 1/5 — Locks up

*2025-11-20, version 4.9.4*

iPhone 12 iOS 26.1 locks up when you try to look at temperature. Still works on iPad.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Précis et efficace

*2026-08-22, version 4.9.5*

Cela a amélioré mes cuisson de façon spectaculaire

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-07-31, version 4.9.5*

This Bluetooth temperature probe is easy to use. Set the temp and it lets you know when the food is close to the set temperature and again when it reaches the set temperature. Set it and walk away. You can also set it to a lower temp and then flip the meat so you get a great bark all around.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-07-11, version 4.9.5*

Best mint I ever spent ty

### 5/5 — Sirloin

*2026-07-08, version 4.9.5*

Great temp follow

### 5/5 — Use I grill ever session

*2026-05-24, version 4.9.5*

I use my I Grill every cook out session, and often indoors. It absolutely helps turn out perfectly cooked meals!

### 5/5 — My I grill

*2026-02-08, version 4.9.5*

I have own two of these units for several years and I’ve enjoyed them, but they have lasted longer than any set of probes that I’ve had. Then only issue I’ve ever had is over tipping the probe and that was my fault. Probes cannot go beyond 500°. If you’re able to purchase these enjoy them.

### 5/5 — I grill Teviee

*2025-11-28, version 4.9.5*

The product works great, however the two screws on the back of the magnetic housing are not high quality. Both plastic receivers broke off when removing the back plate. I have since purchased another unit to replace it, but would not have been necessary if better quality.

### 5/5 — Locks up

*2025-11-27, version 4.9.5*

UPDATE: THANKS FOR THE FIX!
iPhone 12 iOS 26.1 locks up when you try to look at temperature. Still works on iPad.

### 5/5 — Bbq roast

*2025-09-07, version 4.9.2*

Really good

### 5/5 — Reliable

*2025-09-05, version 4.9.2*

I use with every brisket for 18+ hours, batteries last forever. Quick refresh. Worth the $$
