But on thursday July 2 it said you must update now and I was like ‘’ok’’ and then I updated the game but when I went back on it still said you must update now and I was like ‘’I DID’’ so I did it again and I updated it……IT STILL SAID ‘’you must update now’’ I WAS SO MAD but other then that webkinz is a good game you can do a lot on there you can decorate your house and make it really fun, you can earn kinkash by selling and playing caravels!! so this is why its a good and a bad game at the same time sorry if that wasn’t helpful ### 3/5 — Fun but too glitchy *2026-03-29, version 2.68.0* I was so excited to come back to Webkinz, as a lifetime fan! I’ve spent my adult dollars investing in this game to get started & I now regret it because it is SO buggy & glitchy. Editing the house makes me want to claw my eyeballs out. It’s infuriating . I have to shut the app once every 10 minutes or so bc it’s frozen. Which unfortunately, despite being a grown adult, does not let me pay for diamonds normally and instead makes me use a parent's code and card just to purchase?? That is ridiculous and infuriating. I'm not five years old. Anyway, otherwise, cute game, Enjoy it a lot. ### 4/5 — Mixed Feelings *2026-01-14, version 2.66.0* Having played the game a bit here and there since 2021 I feel like it’s come a long way, though it still needs a lot of love. I wish there was more ways to earn the premium gems, or at least frequent sales on pets like the classic Webkinz has. Sparking (pet breeding) can be so expensive and so disappointing, and there’s no way to remove pets you do not like from your family. There needs to be more daily stuff to do, and kinzville just looks so placid and boring, I’d love to see the town get a decent makeover. Once a nostalgic, fun, easy-going game turned into a lagged out, aesthetically unpleasant, extremely limiting poor excuse of what you would call an improvement. The few people that do play the game and have been playing, know part of the appeal is the nostalgia it brings with gameplay and the fact that most games allowed for an unlimited amount of plays, which prolongs the engagement/use and continues the fun. Limiting the amount of times you can play to just 3 rounds cuts short the users gameplay in a very drastic way that was not expected. As well as getting rid of many of the fun games in the arcade, it is not justified. I am extremely unhappy and am unsure of my involvement in “webkinz next”, I need this next reboot to be better. ### 1/5 — I was excited *2025-10-03, version 2.62.1* I was so excited to download this. I loved Webkinz growing up and I had a huge collection. There used to be an app that worked well, then it vanished and I hoped they would make a new one. I saw this and immediately downloaded it. I only got to play it for five minutes until it asked me to give my cat water. I’ve tried restarting the app, nothing works.
