This is the result of following the Weblock app's instructions and FAQ. So I ask myself... which is better? But this week, several apps finally started to break through and show ads, most annoyingly Bored Panda, which throws up full-screen video ads at random in the app, and then begs you to whitelist it (to BP: This behavior is WHY we block ads!). I’ve contacted the developer, but given how long it’s been since this has been updated, I’m not expecting a fix. If anybody is using legacy mode—Which is necessary if you are using a separate VPN on iOS/iPadOS or have a device policy that prevents the aforementioned—you will need to do the following (in order) before ‘Weblocking’ will work: Enter the automatic URL or manual IP+port in ‘HTTP PROXY - Configure Proxy’ Settings, (no authentication is required)>Turn ‘Wi-Fi’ off>Open ‘App Switcher’>Quit all apps>Turn ‘Wi-Fi’ on. This is necessary for some apps and your wireless card to perform a new TCP/IP handshake with the proxy server. If the previous steps didn’t work, perform the following steps (in order): Ensure the URL or IP/port info is entered correctly>Copy/Paste if necessary>Turn ‘Wi-Fi’ off>Turn ‘Airplane-Mode’ on>Open App Switcher>Quit all apps>Perform a ‘Force Restart.’-..v(shown below)v.. On new iPhones (running iOS 15 and greater): Press the ‘volume-up’ and release quickly>Press the ‘volume-down’ button and release quickly>Press both the ‘volume-down’ + ‘power’ button at the same time and hold>While holding, power off the device>Once the ‘Apple Logo’ appears, let go of the buttons>Once screen is completely black, power-on phone. *(For older or different iPhones, search for “Force restart iPhone” on a search engine or Apples support website)* ### 5/5 — Funktioniert sehr gut *2024-07-09* Nur das Widget scheint unter iOS15 nicht mehr zu laden.
