### 2/5 — Crashes on iPad 10

*2024-04-25, version 2.0.2*

Great app, but the latest update is crashing on iPad 10. It happens upon immediately opening, so it’s completely unusable. I have forced the app to reset, checked for an update, uninstalled/reinstalled, and reset the device.

### 2/5 — The premium was a SCAM

*2024-02-23, version 2.0.2*

i really enjoyed this game and would’ve given it five stars, BUT I DECIDED TO GET THE PREMIUM AND IT DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK OR ELSE

### 4/5 — Great for students!

*2023-12-06, version 2.0.2*

As a student I am constantly referring back to this app to help give myself an idea of a particular molecules reactive sites, it’s also really great to understand the planes that molecules are in!

### 2/5 — unable to connect to https server

*2021-01-22, version 2.0.1*

### 3/5 — Very good but.....

*2020-05-24, version 1.8.6*

This is a good app however it always crash. This is totally not enjoyable when using the app of this kind.

### 3/5 — Gaussian

*2020-03-10, version 1.8.6*

*2020-01-28, version 1.8.6*

*2019-12-21, version 1.8.6*

### 3/5 — Could be great if it didn't crash

*2019-11-04, version 1.8.6*

It could be a great teaching app but keeps crashing constantly. I've installed it on my iPhone 8 with iOS 13.2 and also on my iPad mini gen 1 iOS 9.3.6, happens in both.
I truly hope it is fixed on next releases, only then I'll pay for it. Until then I'll keep using iSpartan for my classes does similar things but requires internet connection and does not offers free servers for submitting calculations.

### 5/5 — Can place molecules again

*2018-12-16, version 1.8.6*

It looks like the issue preventing molecule placement is fixed!

### 5/5 — Haters are fakers

*2018-11-14, version 1.8.3*

DON’T LISTEN TO THE HATERS!
I SEVERELY RECOMMEND GETTING THIS! 10/10 IT IS AWSOME.

   Note: Dear Haters,
😤😤😤😡😡😡😤😤😤👎👎👎😾😾😾😾😾🙁🙁🙁🙁
You 🤯 the way you criticize this.

*2018-08-28, version 1.7.6*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Great app but crashes now

*2024-08-27, version 2.2.1*

It was working fine until I got a new iPad. Now all it does is crash.

### 1/5 — Can’t do much of anything

*2024-05-31, version 2.0.2*

No useful instructions. I can stick atoms together in random arrangements, that’s all.

*2020-02-11, version 1.8.6*

### 1/5 — Stopped working.

*2018-12-05, version 1.8.3*

I liked this app but it hasn’t worked for months. I can’t build models anymore. I can only import by molecule name. Hopefully this will be fixed. It’s been like this for over a year.

### 1/5 — Do not waste your time or money

*2018-08-20, version 1.7.6*

I downloaded and paid the extra $5 for this app to help with my organic chemistry class and it does not help. Out of all the molecules I’ve built trying to learn more information about, so far water (h2o) is the only one it can solve. I’ve tried simple ones like ethane and butane which are simple 2 and 4 carbon molecules and it can’t handle it. Don’t even think about adding an oxygen or a nitrogen. I would honestly give this app a negative star because it also doesn’t work properly. It says to tap to add a chemical, well I’m tapping away and nothing is happening. The demo is garbage and does not help. I would request a refund but I don’t think it’s even worth the hassle. Bottom line...this app is not worth it.

### 1/5 — This app no longer works...

*2018-07-28*

A few months ago this app was quite useful to me to as I could easily visualise the symmetry elements of molecules and their MO’s. Unfortunately, I noticed it started to bug on start up and since then its been unusable, it no longer allows me to construct molecules or load any, I’ve deleted the app and re-downloaded it but no improvement. It’s a shame because it was a nice app.

### 1/5 — Can not place atoms

*2018-05-01, version 1.7.6*

This app worked amazing until you are not able to put atoms down anymore

### 1/5 — Useless - freezes with iOS 11

*2018-01-08, version 1.7.4*

Can’t get pass the ‘Do you want a tutorial?’ window - no response to tapping yes.no, or don’t show again. Please fix!

### 1/5 — Not opening

*2018-01-01, version 1.7.2*

Downloaded this app onto my iPad Pro. Stuck at opening where it asks if you wish to see video tutorial. Have not gotten past that. Please fix the bug. Thank you.

### 1/5 — Frozen and will not respond

*2018-01-01, version 1.7.2*

Sad :( wish it would work! As soon as I tried to open it, a pop up came up that was like "do you want a brief tutorial" and then yes or no or don't show again but if you tried to click on anything, it just wouldn't respond. You could tap on any part of the screen and on any answer and the app won't do bananas for you :( wish it worked!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent App to Teach Chemistry and do Research

*2024-10-04, version 2.2.2*

I have loved this app the day I installed it. WebMO provides all necessary tools to teach about structures, compare electrostatic potential of different molecules or for that matter submit jobs to server.
The WebMO team responded quickly to fix issues faced after iOS18 upgrade.

### 5/5 — Webmo

*2023-01-20, version 2.0.2*

It’s cool app having almost all features that satisfy my needs…

### 5/5 — Totally pro results

*2022-06-17, version 2.0.2*

As good as much more expensive comp chem packages. Does what you probably need done anyhow, ESP, orbitals with occupancy, MM, etc.

### 5/5 — Useful tool

*2021-12-07, version 2.0.2*

This is a useful tool for visualising molecules, looking up some naming, and demonstrating vibrational modes.

### 5/5 — Great app to visualize molecules and calculate basic properties

*2021-10-29, version 2.0.2*

Very useful for visualizing molecules in 3D. Great tool for teaching chemistry to students!

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2021-01-25, version 2.0.1*

Thank you guys for making this app free, it has helped me tremendously

### 5/5 — Rich functionality, intuitive interface

*2020-07-20, version 2.0.1*

Nice array of functionality with an intuitive interface. There is a decent variety of information that you can obtain about a molecule; Pm6 calculation results can be generated.

### 5/5 — Best $5 I ever spent

*2020-02-08, version 1.8.6*

Would’ve paid $20 lol

### 5/5 — How can I thank you

*2019-08-06, version 1.8.6*

I'm going to buy the upgrade just to show my appreciation for this incredible app that brings me so much joy, happiness, and fun molecular modeling activity time. Thank you scholars of the world, thank you very much.

### 5/5 — Thank you, Soooo Much

*2019-05-27, version 1.8.6*

Communicating ‘complex’ thoughts, especially when it pertains to chemical phenomena, can be extremely difficult, unless BOTH parties are competent and skilled, regarding chemistry and communication, respectively.

Assuming a picture is word 1000 words this app has saved me roughly 200,000-300,000 words thus far, and it’s only been 1-2 weeks;
Yeah, this app is relatively that easy to use and I’m a supervisor in a academic research lab.

Pay the $5, instead of wasting $5 x (all those words worth of pay on talking).

If you aren’t talking this much (above) without this app, and you’re training freshman-senior undergrads to be lab competent, please, quit your job.

They need your guidance, not your negligence.

Thank you again WebMO company.
