### 1/5 — Egern is a much superior app.

*2024-12-24*

This app is very basic although I appreciate the descriptive interface of the setup guide. Alternatives like Surge has a good interface as well but still has more features compared to it.

Update: Installed the latest version, nothing changed other than having the dreaded subscription now. Looks like Egern for the win~

**Developer response:** Please update to the latest version of the app. There are a lot of improvements.

### 1/5 — The servers are located in Russia.

*2025-04-06*

RU is watching you

**Developer response:** No, the app is fully serverless, which means it doesn't communicate with anything outside your phone.

### 1/5 — Pricing structure is shameful

*2025-03-08*

Who needs to pay monthly for a network inspector? There are no server costs? I would totally but this if it was a one time fee, so tired of apps trying to force a subscription down throats. I understand getting paid for development, but this doesn’t make any sense

**Developer response:** All main functions are free. A subscription is optional, and helps support development. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the app, please contact our support team via email.
