It’s not easy finding solutions for YouTube on iOS, let alone for YouTube within Safari. I’m using this app paired with a delayed password locker/vault, that delays access to the random password I use for Sunscreen, so that similar to how I use the more well-known ‘1Focus’ app on Mac, by the time I’m able to access blocked sites (in this case access to my Sunscreen password to unlock YouTube content I otherwise blocked [except for specific educational channels I need]), the urge is hours past.
