Although both are advertised as a Thesaurus, neither are. - Not a large selection of words in the thesaurus - Same word of the day every day and can’t turn it off - Frequently doesn’t have words that other dictionaries have - Every time I touch the magnifying glass to search I have to first delete the last item I searched for. - App is supposed to be Thesaurus and Dictionary, but only Dictionary came with download - Word of the day is a nuisance - Dictionary did not include words like anthropomorphi - Charged incorrect dollar amount - I cannot believe I paid money for this worthless piece of a thesaurus. - It doesn't even have a dictionary function with it, as the logo implies. - At first looking up synonyms can be a hit and miss affair with very few (sometimes no) results. - The app needs to be updated with iOS7 aesthetics - Claims to be a thesaurus but often gives a dictionary. There’s no obvious way to switch to thesaurus. - No entry for the word cadet? - Cumbersome search and sends the same ‘word of the day’ notification of the same word - “poet” - a word I was already familiar with, incidentally. - This was bad enough before the latest update. It does not recognise many English words as it seems to be American. It’s very clunky. I cannot access the Thesaurus, which is why I purchased it, despite searching the inadequate menu. Tapping on ‘Home’ the top of the Menu -nothing appears. There is no info on how to use the app. Dictionary definitions are brief, in no way comprehensive & don’t match the printed book of Webster Dictionary. Settings only give a colour choice, nothing else. You would be better of with a comprehensive dictionary with built in thesaurus such as Oxford American Dictionary or AHD 5 deluxe version.
