PLEASE stop sending out push notifications for news surrounding celebrities/hollywood. Deaths are one thing, but I don’t need a news alert about Justin Timberlake’s arrest or a co-host leaving the Today Show. I don’t mind it being reported on but why do I need a push notification about it from my local news app?!?! Other people I’ve talked to have uninstalled for this exact reason, they were tired of their phone constantly going off from unimportant push notification. If I want those kind of alerts I’ll download the People Magazine app or something. Complete waste of time in my opinion. Compare this to WRAL app in Raleigh and you’ll see what I mean. ### 1/5 — Fonts too small to read *2026-04-28, version 8.0.2* This new format fonts in the list of articles is too small to read for sight impaired people. I understand that ads pay for the service to be free to viewrs, but now the amount of ads outweigh the actual news articles.
