### 5/5 — Great for 4yr olds

*2013-11-04, version 1.4.1*

Not too hard for my 4 year old and also not too easy. It's the perfect difficulty to keep him entertained.

### 4/5 — Easy to use

*2013-10-12, version 1.4*

My 2 year old, who s very good with the iPad, picked this game up immediately. It doesn't provide the longest playing experience for him but its a cute game.

### 5/5 — LOVE LOVE LOVE

*2013-09-30, version 1.4*

My almost 4 yo son loves this app. Build an endless amount of rockets and then blast them off. Race them through space to collect planets. Lots of fun! I would LOVE to see more apps from these guys! Thank you!

### 5/5 — Cute, but not a ton of content

*2013-02-22, version 1.3*

Really cute graphics and nice sounds (although I wish it said, "3-2-1 blastoff!" instead of the three beeps). This would be great for a child under 2 or so, and I think my 2.5 year old will enjoy it... But definitely not enough for a child in the 4-6 range. I like the mission and the positive reinforcement. Edit: wow, my 2.5 year old LOVES this, so I added a star back. She is having a blast (!) with it and the repetition actually seems like a comforting plus to her. It's really so cute and great music.

### 5/5 — Creative way for toddlers to play

*2012-12-11, version 1.2*

My daughter likes the drag and drop UI of the rocket assembly. She loves that she can choose different color parts that mix and match. The drop points are soft enough that a toddler doesn't get frustrated needing pixel perfect precision.

### 5/5 — My 3yr old loves it!

*2012-08-27, version 1.1*

I've been meaning to pick this up for a while now but grabbed it in the week for my 3yr old. He loves building the rockets and choosing an astronaut to fly through space with. It keeps him occupied and amused for a fair while which is handy when it's raining!

Good work!

### 5/5 — Great wee app!

*2012-07-29, version 1.0*

Most kids apps I purchase last about 2 or 3 minutes before my daughter gets bored, but after two days I literally cannot get her off Wee Rockets!
She must have played it 100 times or more - loves it so she does.

Highly recommended :-)

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2012-07-26, version 1.0*

Great app and gameplay. Keeps my 4 year old son occupied for hours. He can't put it down.

### 4/5 — Lovely wee game

*2012-07-18, version 1.0*

Nice to the point little game with straightforward, wooden puzzle like, steps to build a rocket. Thankfully the shapes don't have to be precisely on target, so well suited to younger children. There's even a baby mode that turns off the puzzle aspect so that everyone can head for the stars.

The direct touch control of the rocket once launched is great for young children, there are countless ways that this could have been done badly but not in is game.

Visually engaging with great sound effects and a nice spacey retro tune backing it all up. It would have been nice to have a slower takeoff sequence so those beautiful graphics could be enjoyed more fully.

It will be fun seeing the game evolve in future updates, perhaps alien 'facts' and animations or extra components.

### 4/5 — 20 plays through, my son is still loving it

*2012-07-17, version 1.0*

After seeing a tweet this morning, I had to get this for my 'space rocket fanatic' 3 year old. After one quick show, he's now play it 20 odd times and has enjoyed it thus far. Lovely graphics, easy to use. I (not my 3 year old son) hope for a 'little more' in future updates with more variety in rockets and aliens etc. But really great so far.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No Sound Ipad2 iOS 7..........

*2014-10-19*

Looks great, but no sound and no purpose beyond flying a rocket.....

**Developer response:** The sound issue is probably related to the mute switch. Our apps will have no sound when your device is in silent mode. This is probably the reason why you have no sound. Best check the mute switch on the side or in the control center of the iPad/iPhone to fix this.

We hope you this will fix your issue. If not, please get in touch with us via our website.

### 1/5 — Boring

*2013-11-13, version 1.4.1*

It's as if someone forgot to finish the game development.
It's so boring my 4 1/2 year old (whom I bought it for) played it a few times and said, "no more!"
What a waste of $!

### 1/5 — Rip off.

*2013-10-24, version 1.4*

Looks cool. But is very simple and too repetitive. It has like one screen that plays over and over.

### 1/5 — I want my money back!

*2013-09-30, version 1.4*

This game is lame. Held my kid's interest for all of a minute. Never again!

### 1/5 — Why the good reviews?

*2012-08-01, version 1.0*

All these good reviews seem a bit fishy to me. There isn't anything to is and I was expecting somewhat more. Very few ways to change the rocket and the race bit through space has no purpose. It doesn't matter how many aliens or rocks you hit, nothing changes. I would not suggest you buy this for anyone older than about 2.

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2013-10-06, version 1.4*

Very basic and certainly not worth the money. My 3 year old finished it within 5 minutes. Gave it 2 stars just for the graphics.

### 3/5 — Cute... But overpriced.

*2014-07-07, version 1.4.2*

This is a very cute app... But I was expecting it to do more for the price. My 3 yr old loves Rockets and most of the games I've found were too advanced for him. This one seemed perfect. He loved it for the first 5 minutes, then had explored all it had to offer and moved on to other games. It's cute and the idea is great- maybe just needs a few more levels to challenge him?

### 4/5 — A good children’s game

*2025-01-04, version 1.5.6*

very straightforward 5-and-under type of game.

### 4/5 — My son still plays it

*2015-11-02, version 1.4.3*

I bought it for my son when he was about 3. He is 5 now and still plays it occasionally. He likes it. Fairly simple gameplay which s not a bad thing, but good animation and overall design.

### 4/5 — Fun

*2014-06-20, version 1.4.2*

My kids love this game. Nice look and feel.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Still an absolutely Magnificent Game!

*2023-10-16, version 1.5.6*

I’ve been letting my nieces / nephews play this game on my phone, and even after many, many years, it’s still a popular favorite. It’s even become one of those precious memories that we all refer back to. Love it! Many thanks yet again to the kind souls that made this app!!!

### 5/5 — Worth It!

*2021-09-05, version 1.5.6*

My toddler is crazy about rockets and this game fit the bill. I appreciate the parents mode to further simplify it. Great first video game.

### 5/5 — Nice simple app for wee ones.

*2018-02-11, version 1.5.6*

Easy game play. Build a rocket, launch it and navigate through space collecting thing and avoiding meteors.

### 5/5 — Simple...

*2017-11-13, version 1.5.6*

... and great looking game. Not much to it but my 2 and 4 year old boys love it.

### 5/5 — A classic

*2017-05-05, version 1.5.5*

This is truly one of the best apps for children 2-3 years old. They easily pick it up and enjoy it endlessly.

### 5/5 — 3yr old loves it

*2016-06-08, version 1.5.4*

And I like the artistic look, intuitive play, clean graphics and lack of commercialization.
Thank you!!

### 5/5 — Rocket goes up high

*2016-05-01, version 1.5.2*

My two and a half year old daughter loves this simple game and making the "stones go pop"

------

Update. My daughter is now nearly 6 and still enjoys this game from time to time. It's simple, engaging and enjoyable.

### 5/5 — Best toddler app ever!

*2013-11-25, version 1.4.2*

I love this app. It is a perfect little app for toddlers. Good graphics and easy to use. My son loves it!

### 5/5 — Great.

*2013-11-22, version 1.4.2*

My so things its the best. He loves collecting all the planets. He is only 2.

### 5/5 — Parents

*2013-11-14, version 1.4.1*

Parents Are idiots !
the app is nicely done great graphics great fun my 2yr old loves it. Plays it everyday. Don't rate the game because your kid lost interest. They are kids. Buy another app.. And another. Thats how it is.
