Looking for an app to help you identify weeds? Look no further! The Weed ID app is a trusted tool specific to Canada, that will help you to IDENTIFY and MAP weeds and weed trends on your farm year over year.

IDENTIFY: The Weed ID app lets you ID weeds based on key characteristic selections you have identified. It also allows you to search for weeds, view the weed database, and provide detailed descriptions and photos of the weeds.

MAP IT: The Map It section of the app uses a WiFi connection and your GPS coordinates to map and track the weed pressures you have identified year-over year.

Weed ID feature works pretty well just as long as it is one of the 68 weeds in their weed database. 3 stars may be generous but tbf the weed you looking for is probably one of the 68

Trust this company?  Heaven help the person that identifies some genetically modified plant growing in their yard that was developed by this company. Not only do the get your identity but your GPS location as well. Thought I’d try the app until I saw who made it. Uninstalled it after the name Monsanto appeared. Seen too many horror docs about farmers being sued. Thanks but no thanks.

Looks like a great app, but initial registration only gave Canadian states. Would've been helpful to know that before the download. Uninstalled.

After downloading this app I didn't like the fact that there are language errors on the opening screen. Next, it is MANDATORY to open an account to use the app. Then you have to download a database with no idea of how big it is. I wasn't crazy about possibly using all my phone's memory just in case I might want to identify a weed, so I have removed the app.

I just dug out the weed and was done with it.

This app is great on my iPhone, and it would be even better if it would not crash as soon as it is opened and be essentially a waste of memory on my iPad. If you're thinking of downloading this either wait for an update or use your phone, because this is just not working.
