## What is WeedCentral?

WeedCentral is a private cannabis companion: reflect on what you use and how it makes you feel, connect with friends, and get to know your highs over time.

Log a check-in in seconds: strain, product type, and dose; mood and effects; a photo of the bud, jar, or label. Search thousands of strains, see cannabinoid and terpene details, and use Smart Scan to read a product label and autofill your check-in. Learn from plain-English guides, and see personal insights that surface your patterns over time.

Smart Scan is a Premium feature, free to try for 3 days.

Your journal goes where you do. On Apple Watch, browse your recent check-ins, log one again in a tap, and rate it later from your wrist, with a complication on your watch face. Add the Journal widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen, or press and hold the app icon to check in or repeat your last one. On iPad and iPhone Duo, your journal sits beside the check-in you open.

Private by design: no ads, no data sold, ever. Sign in with Apple or Google and your check-ins stay backed up and in sync across your devices. You can delete your account anytime from the app.

Intended for adults of legal age in regions where cannabis is legal. WeedCentral does not sell, or facilitate the sale of, cannabis or any controlled substance.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.17 — 2026-10-21

- The App Store now lists every language WeedCentral comes in, not just English.
- Use more than one language on your iPhone? Pick the one WeedCentral speaks in Settings, WeedCentral, Language.
- Small fixes and polish.

### 2.0.16 — 2026-10-20

- Made for iPhone Duo: works on the closed and open display, with your journal beside the check-in you pick. iPad gets the same side-by-side view.
- In Smart Scan, tap the tag number on a price sticker to look up its lab report.
- Rate WeedCentral after your fifth check-in, or any time from Account.
- Updated for iOS 27.

### 2.0.15 — 2026-10-05

- Smart Scan has a new lab sheet: tap a terpene on the ring, see more cannabinoids in color, and view it side by side on iPad.
- It reads more labs, names strains more accurately, and says why a package has no lab report.
- Spot a price sticker? Smart Scan offers to fill in your check-in cost.
- Share to Instagram Stories, or copy the card as an image. Sharing a private check-in now asks first.
- Deleting your account now removes your sign-in too, and launching offline keeps you signed in.

### 2.0.14 — 2026-09-18

Smart Scan reads more labels, and reads them right.

• Busy labels no longer drop the COA code, so lab results actually come back.
• Scanning a dispensary's own retail QR now finds the certificate instead of failing.
• Cleaner strain names: no stray brackets, and no more lab sample IDs standing in for the strain.
• A product labelled Sativa or Indica keeps that type instead of defaulting to Hybrid.
• Packages that never had a lab certificate no longer show a "Lab report failed" you could never clear.

A much better share card.

• Your note, your moods and the check-in type now appear on the Instagram Story card.
• Long brand names and long usernames no longer get cut off.
• Your photo makes it onto the card reliably, and a photo-less card now looks designed instead of broken.
• On Android the card actually sends, and the photo is no longer captured mid-fade.
• Three Share buttons that could silently do nothing now always work.

Check-in.

• Visibility moved to the end of the form: name the strain, brand, farm and shop first, then decide who sees it.

Fixes and speed.

• The status bar follows the theme you chose in the app, not your phone's, so the clock is always readable.
• Bud Bracket standings were showing zero. They count again.
• Faster My and Feed tabs, and faster strain lookups.
• Launch and stability fixes on the newest iOS.

### 2.0.13 — 2026-09-11

Smart Scan is faster and sharper
- Lab results now appear as soon as the label is read, instead of waiting for the whole report.
- Fixed a camera that stayed black on some Android phones.
- Better strain detection from lab certificates, so fewer scans come back with a batch code or the wrong name.
- Closing a lab card no longer discards the rest of your scan.
- New: report a lab card that looks wrong, in one tap.

Check-ins
- New: log what your flower was infused with.
- Reflect now asks before discarding an edit, and all five stars fit on screen.

Cannabi Helpful
- It now reads your own notes, and weighs terpenes by what actually stands out in a strain rather than by what is merely present.

Places
- The map opens where you are.
- Thousands of new places, including the first in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Puerto Rico and Belgium.

Also in this release
- The Following feed loads past the first page.
- A shared badge now shows who earned it.
- Photos load more reliably.
- On Android, the tab bar no longer hides behind the system navigation bar.
- New: the app tells you when a newer version is available, and updates in place.
