However, the Radar ‘ future ’ map feature needs improvement. Why? Static ads at the bottom of the screen - ok, thank you for supporting the app, and if I need to remodel my kitchen I might give you a call. But when there have been tornado watches, I don’t really want to sit through a 30-second ad for a used RV. I think it takes away from the app’s credibility. I have severe anxiety when it comes to tornadoes and this app makes it so much easier to follow and calm me down a bit. But it sends me notifications for weather not even in my state. It sends notifications for some surrounding states also. I just got a tornado watch notification (not a verbal one, just the banner) for Illinois. I have never even been to Illinois & my location is always on, so it pinpoints the right location. This is the worst part about this app and I’m not sure if it an issue I can fix myself or an issue with the app but I really really dislike that it does that. ### 4/5 — Please fix the map??? *2024-02-17, version 5.12.705* I’ve used this app ever since I heard of it, but please fix the forward map! No one said high winds from N/E on Sunday May 7, not just wind gusts! Why is it so hard for a “meteorologist “ to know what’s going on in the atmosphere? This is not climate change! Storms have been happening my entire life, but unless there is a tornado I don’t need a minute by minute play by play of rain or lightning.
