## What is Weekend Pilot?

The weekend everyone looks forward to.

Saturday free? One tap – and your day is ready: outings near you, planned stop by stop, with routes and weather – matched to your children's ages.

FRIENDS SAY YES VIA A LINK
Send your plan as a link to other families. They open it in their browser and say yes or no – no app, no account. In the app you see who's coming and what the others suggest.

• Your day on one map – from home and back.
• What's on today: feedings and programmes at selected destinations.
• Ended up somewhere else? A new plan from there.
• The kids get a vote – with points for your wishes.
• Your outings stay as memories.

PRIVATE
No ads, no tracking, no selling of data. The app only uses your location if you allow it. Plans are made with AI – plan without it if you prefer. Start without an account and secure it later with Apple or Google.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
• Free: a weekend suggestion every Thursday (a ready plan in many cities), 3 AI plans of your own a week, Discover, voting, friends via link
• Plus: 12 AI plans a week, 24 live searches a month, 5 trips a month
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled – anytime in iOS Settings. Prices for your region are shown at purchase inside the app.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.147 — 2026-11-05

• Start without an account: the app works right away – secure it later with Apple or Google, everything stays
• “Are you here?”: on a plan day, if you stay 45 minutes somewhere not in the plan, the app asks once and records the outing with one tap
• In the evening, “Elsewhere” suggests the place where you were
• Plans fit the season: no swimming tips in November, no full-moon walk without a full moon
• “More from us” under Legal & info
• The rating request comes at most three times a year, and only on the evening of an outing day
• Live Activity on outing days: current and next stop with time and walking time on the Lock Screen, plus “Ended up elsewhere?”
• Tickets: for selected places, a button goes straight to the official ticket shop
• “Suggest a place”: missing a destination? Suggest it to us

### 1.0.146 — 2026-11-04

• Start without an account: the app works right away – secure it later with Apple or Google, everything stays
• “Are you here?”: on a plan day, if you stay 45 minutes somewhere not in the plan, the app asks once and records the outing with one tap
• In the evening, “Elsewhere” suggests the place where you were
• Plans fit the season: no swimming tips in November, no full-moon walk without a full moon
• “More from us” under Legal & info
• The rating request comes at most three times a year, and only on the evening of an outing day

### 1.0.143 — 2026-10-31

• Together, tidied up: the meal plan with shopping list, open questions and the pinboard are now lines in “Together” – and each word means exactly one thing: the vote on wishes, a question to the family, tasks with stars, notes on the pinboard
• Anyone who earned a star this week sees, when voting, that one point comes from it
• Home town: the location question has a search field – for cities outside Austria too
• New families get a plan during their trial week even when there are no verified places for their area yet; plans built from verified places are named by day and theme
• A hint on “Plan” when a much newer version is in the App Store

### 1.0.138 — 2026-10-28

• Discover: an event happening today only goes to the top when it is nearby and starts soon – otherwise you get the best tip for your family
• Holidays in Vienna: events such as the Armed Forces show on Heldenplatz or Parliament’s open day, with times from the official pages

### 1.0.137 — 2026-10-25

• New app icon
• Event posters: share photos straight from the Photos app to Weekend Pilot; opening hours on the poster (“10 am–7 pm”) are taken over
• Re-plan with a time: “in the evening” or “at 3 pm” moves an event within its opening hours
• A day around an event: the other stops are nearby
