### 3/5 — Poor customer service

*2026-07-24, version 4.6.9*

I have been trying to get in touch with you guys for quite some time. The app is no longer syncing with my bank and according to them this will not change. I had prepaid for a year but since it isn’t working I would like to request my money back.

### 2/5 — can only do anything with a subscription

*2026-06-02, version 4.6.5*

why is every useful feature cost $10 a month as if this app isn’t for saving money

### 4/5 — Love the simplicity!

*2026-05-31, version 4.6.5*

This is exactly what I needed! A simple, easy way to track my expenses at a glance. 4 stars for not being available on Android. This would be 5 stars if my husband and I could share the app.

### 3/5 — Excellent for those who hate recording everything!

*2026-05-24, version 4.6.5*

UPDATE: support seems to have disappeared and there’s been no updates or enhancements in months.

Unlike most apps that require you to tediously record every entry, Weekly’s setup and operation is a breeze. Set your income, set your expenses. Set what you want to save for and it will tell you what you can spend each week. Hands down the easiest to use while providing everything you need to track and monitor your spending and saving.

### 4/5 — Good but could be better

*2026-04-02, version 4.5.7*

The ui could be better

### 4/5 — Great budgeting app for those who go on a Weekly basis.

*2026-04-01, version 4.5.7*

This app essential features that allow me not to worry about building and inserting information on a spreadsheet every week, instead; input my banks and boom, everything is done for you. This app definitely deserves five stars however, two banks that I’m not able to link is Apples system and Fidelity and potentially there are more out there but that’s what I need. Many other major banks that I use connected with no issues. Otherwise great app, invest some money to save to time and even more money.

### 4/5 — Easy and simple

*2026-02-10, version 4.4.6*

It’s the title plus it looks nice

### 3/5 — good app becoming worse with every update

*2026-01-24, version 4.4.6*

I like the app, it is a simple way of budgeting and tracking expenses; I have been a premium subscriber for several years though that may be ending. For some reason the creators of this app think that removing features counts as an update. This is odd self sabotaging behavior. Recently they changed the fund feature so now I have to do math on my own to set up a weekly fund, whereas before the fund had several different setups to take all of that pesky math out. They’ve also removed the option to add an expense then add another expense immediately after. Requiring several more taps all over the screen to do the same thing.

What features have been added? Fund goals. After you’ve done all of the budgeting on your own with your calculator and spreadsheet and entered into the app how much you want to save each week, the shiny new feature will tell you how many weeks it will take to reach your goal. Not very useful.

This is frustrating and sad to see a once beloved app become worse and worse because of careless creator tinkering. I will likely not continue to pay for the app if they continue to remove features for no good reason. Typically, if an app creator wants to alter a feature they make it customizable so that the feature has expanded capabilities, not reduced capabilities. Macrofactor is a tracking app for calories that I also pay for. Nearly every screen in the app is customizable so the app user determines what features are included and the app creator doesn’t have to impose their mercurial preferences on the user.

Weekly creators: please stop removing features, instead make the app features customizable. Also integrate the Apple financekit so Apple savings and Apple Card transactions can be linked to the app. Most other premium finance apps have these abilities and are big reasons I’m now considering not renewing my subscription.

You could also add a feature to try a hypothetical adjustment to your budget, for example by contributing more to your retirement savings and cutting out a few subscriptions. You could see how these changes would affect your weekly spending limit without actually altering your budget. Of course it would be nice to also have the option to save the hypothetical changes if the user found them agreeable. This would be helpful when considering a new job opportunity, considering a new rental or mortgage refinance, or benefits package.

### 5/5 — Easy & Effective

*2026-01-20, version 4.4.6*

Best budget app for ADHDers. Simple, fun, effectively laid out.

### 5/5 — The best

*2026-01-16, version 4.4.6*

This is the best budget app I have ever tried. I use it and recommend it to others.
Not a fan of latest update with blue checkmark in upper right corner.

### 4/5 — Wish it did more for plus

*2026-01-14, version 4.4.5*

I wish there was a place in the app to monitor debt and work on paying down debt using an avalanche or a snowball method with charts on debt payoff and debt payments so I wish it was just all in one

### 2/5 — Can’t Open

*2026-01-14, version 4.4.5*

It won’t let me open the app. I hit it and it opens to the W screen then it just closes right away.

### 5/5 — Hands down my favorite app.

*2025-12-31, version 4.4.3*

This app changed my life. I’m not kidding. I’ve struggled with budgeting because we get paid weekly. All apps want to balance to zero at the end of the month and it just doesn’t work for me. This app has allowed me to save up over 8,000 just in the short time I’ve been using it because of its fund buckets and managing how much needs to come out each week to cover my bills. I am so happy with this app.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2025-12-28, version 4.4.3*

I have been using this app everyday to manage my finances.
This is the best app for budgeting as I am now finally out of Debt.
Thank you Weekly

### 5/5 — Weekly is amazing.

*2025-12-22, version 4.4.3*

Very amazing app Ive never had any issues and it helps make my life so much better every week.

### 4/5 — Review

*2025-12-14, version 4.4.3*

Great free budgeting app has everything you need. However it does get a bit tricky when you have an inconsistent income that fluctuates eg. 600$ in one week 200$ in another. When I plug this in under income it messes up the whole weekly spending thing and I wish there was a way around it. Asides from that, if you have a consistent stream, it’s an amazing app to use!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not free

*2026-04-23, version 4.6.0*

This app is not at all free. I spent twenty minutes adding my income and bills, hoping that it would be able to keep track of my due dates but no. All it does is give you your safe to spend money. For everything else you have to go pro and pay a subscription. Complete waste of time.

### 1/5 — No good for Canada Banks

*2026-02-16, version 4.5.2*

Sucks

### 1/5 — Venmo support

*2026-01-30, version 4.4.6*

Supposedly supports Venmo, but is reporting connectivity issues with them. Been that way for two days. What a waste of my trial, I can't use the app if I can't connect my main spending account.

### 1/5 — Crash!

*2026-01-15, version 4.4.5*

App won’t even load. Crashes consistently.

### 1/5 — Almost perfect for ADHD!

*2025-10-26, version 4.4.0*

Weekly is by far the best budgeting app I’ve ever found for my ADHD (and I have tried SO MANY.) the one missing piece is I need my safe to spend number to show up on my browser somehow so that I see it before I spend — from experience I know that I’m just not capable of remembering to look at that big, wonderful widget on my phone BEFORE I spend. A browser extension or Mac menu bar that showed the number constantly would be ideal. And I know it would be helpful to non-ADHDers too. Until then, it only gets me 1/4 of the way from the relief from overspending that I need.

### 1/5 — Worst customer service or lack of

*2025-04-23, version 4.1.5*

I thought this was a good app, and am about to delete it if no one reaches back to me, i have left three different questions in customer support WEEKS/ months ago, and these people still haven’t responded. Mind you I pay for the monthly subscription, don’t know if there is a number or not but if they don’t that makes it even worse

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-02-26, version 4.1.3*

This is not a good app if you’re trying to make sure you don’t go over spending. It will say you have so much to spend for the week yet you don’t even have that much in your bank account. Apple doesn’t refund and support doesn’t refund . Do not buy

### 1/5 — Unable to Load App

*2025-02-09, version 4.1.2*

The app remains frozen on a loading screen that says “one moment, we are updating your data.”

I’ve e-mailed the developers about this and have not received any support or updates.

### 1/5 — Beware

*2024-12-27, version 4.1.1*

This app during sign up flow advertises “Try PRO Free for a Week” and then proceeds to actually bill you for a year immediately. I’m currently making a claim for a refund from Apple. Developer, do better. Don’t offer fake free trials.

### 1/5 — Stuck trying to load

*2024-12-21, version 4.1.1*

Stuck trying to login. Deleted and reinstalled it multiple times, turned off phone etc. still stuck.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for

*2026-08-31, version 4.8.0*

If you have bills set to auto debit your bank account, or if you have multiple accounts and are sick of having to check multiple apps or websites, and you just want to know how much you have to spend, this app (pro account) is for you!

I downloaded Weekly to help me see exactly what money I had to spend without spending hours at the table every week looking through statements and checking balances, then trying to project what would come out and when. I signed up for pro, and I think it's very reasonably priced for what I can do with it. With the pro account I can see all of my balances in the bank and on the credit card. It updates my transactions at least once a day. Then I can categorize the transaction as coming from my safe-to-spend amount or a different place in the budget. It also helps me save money by taking it directly from my budget and I can keep track of my goal. It's helped my son start saving for a new truck and a new PC. I also was able to share it very easily with my husband. He has his own login.

Checking your bank account balance before buying stuff is all good, but what happens when the bill that was supposed to automatically withdraw hasn't yet? Or maybe you forgot you had a different one coming out soon. Or you get paid biweekly and struggle to keep enough in the bank to balance out your budget... just get the app 😊

### 5/5 — Awesome for Weekly paychecks

*2026-08-21, version 4.8.0*

I have struggled to budget when I get paid weekly and most budgeting apps do a monthly budget. This takes the stress away!

### 5/5 — GameChanger!

*2026-08-16, version 4.8.0*

Is earn a great salary but was still living paycheck to paycheck. I could not figure out how I was losing money each paycheck. This app helps me see my whole month at a glance and what I actually have each week in bills. Now I’m finishing each week with a surplus, finally saving, and finally not worrying about each penny. The app synchs easily with my banks and cc. I downloaded 5 apps to trial and within 30 sec knew this was the app for me.

### 5/5 — Finally a bi-weekly budget app!

*2026-05-02, version 4.6.0*

Searched high and low for a free bi-weekly budget app that’s easy to use. This is exactly what I was looking for!

### 5/5 — Great for budgeting

*2026-04-06, version 4.5.7*

Perfect for what i was looking for.

### 5/5 — ADHD? This is for you!

*2026-04-06, version 4.5.7*

Other budgeting apps left me overwhelmed. This always be to put in my recurring expenses and funds, then tells me how much I can spend each week based on my income. From there, I can use that weekly amount anyway I want. No need to keep track of “buckets” for different categories.

### 5/5 — Best Budget App

*2026-03-17, version 4.5.7*

I have tried several budgeting tools including manual spreadsheets. This is the best. It is simple and easy to use but has all the functionality required to manage your budget. Looking at budgets on a weekly basis is the best approach in my opinion.

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-03-08, version 4.5.7*

Love this app, so clear and helpful. I’ve saved way more after using this

### 5/5 — Life Changing

*2026-01-30, version 4.4.6*

This app has changed my life. How many apps on your phone can you say that about? I put all of my bills and when they’re scheduled for into it. I also have like 30 different mini savings funds in it. It predicts how much money will be in your bank account like a month or so in the future. In this way you can completely stabilize your financial situation. My stress surrounding financial things has dropped dramatically because of this app. The paid version is so worth it. The savings you will find and develop over time because of the app will FAR outweigh the cost of the paid version.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed

*2026-01-24, version 4.4.6*

My absolute favorite feature is that it lets me know what my fixed numbers are, and what are the things that I can be more flexible on week to week. It’s the perks of the envelope system, but without having to be cash it makes me life so much easier
