## What is Weekly Serial?

The Weekly Serial brings the golden age of Victorian fiction back to life — one chapter at a time.

Each week, a new instalment of a classic novel lands in your hands, just as the original readers experienced it. No rushing ahead. No overwhelming walls of text. Just the story, unfolding at a pace that lets it breathe.

We begin where it all began — with Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles, the case that defined detective fiction. From there, the journey continues through the sensation novels and mystery writing that shaped an entire literary tradition.

Every season comes with a companion magazine, anchored to the world of 1851 — the year Charles Dickens launched Household Words, the Browning Letters were being written, and the modern newspaper was finding its voice. Each issue includes folklore from the archives, notices from the famous Agony Column of The Times, and writing from the editors and authors who shaped the age.

This is Victorian fiction as it was meant to be read — slowly, curiously, with context that makes the stories come alive.

What's included:
- Weekly chapter instalments of classic Victorian novels
- A companion magazine with period-authentic content from 1851
- The Agony Column — real notices from The Times that Holmes himself would have read
- Folklore, correspondence, and writing from the Victorian world
- A growing archive of serialised classics
