## What is Weft?

Weft is a quiet personal notebook for the small circle of people you care about most.

Add someone manually, keep a sentence from your last conversation, set a birthday or dated follow-up, and choose a weekly, biweekly, monthly, or quarterly rhythm. Today surfaces a deliberately short, ranked list based on open follow-ups, birthdays, and time passing. You decide when you are caught up—Weft does not close threads automatically.

REMEMBER WITH CONTEXT
• Keep private notes about conversations and the things worth remembering
• Add dated follow-ups that return when they are due
• Set birthdays and a relationship rhythm for each person
• Snooze someone for three days or mark them caught up
• Add photo memories with Premium

BUILT FOR IPHONE
• Native design for iOS 26
• Lock-screen widget and small, medium, and large home-screen widgets
• Three free Siri & Shortcuts actions: Add a note, Open person in Weft, and Who's on your mind today
• English and Japanese

LOCAL BY DEFAULT
Your notes stay in Weft's local database on your iPhone by default. Premium iCloud sync is off until you enable it and uses your private CloudKit database. Apple encrypts those records in transit and at rest. Weft has no notes backend and cannot access your private CloudKit records. Weft has no account system or analytics SDK, and no cloud AI reads or writes your notes.

The optional daily reminder is also off by default. It is a generic reminder at the time you choose; Weft does not read your notes to decide when to notify you.

FREE
• Up to 7 people
• Notes, threads, birthdays, and Today

• Full reasons and the caught-up action in the large widget
