WHAT IS WEGENSEND? Whether it is to take care of your business, a small gift for a loved WEGEN or something else, send money to your loved ones in Ethiopia with just a few taps. WegenSend is the easy, safe, and quick way to send money to Ethiopia. With WegenSend, you can send money to anyone with a bank account in Ethiopia. The App itself was developed by Wegen Technology Solutions, PLC in partnership with Bank of Abyssinia and Commercial Bank of Ethiopia while the financial services are provided by, depending on your transaction settings, either by Bank of Abyssinia or Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. HOW DOES IT WORK? Once you have downloaded the WegenSend app: 1. Create an account and verify your identity. 2. Enter the recipient's information and the amount you want to send. 3. Select a payment method and confirm your transaction. Your money will be sent directly to the recipient's bank account in Ethiopia or they can collect it from branches of CBE and Bank of Abyssinia with their government-issued ID and the secret code you set while making the transfer. I added up a receipt successfully and tried to send money hoping I would be asked to fill in my card details.
