However, I’m really disappointed with my recent experience. When you search for tickets, Wego shows many third-party booking websites, but it feels like some of these websites are not properly verified. I booked a ticket after Wego redirected me to Travelbrekz, and later I had a very difficult experience with them. After a long argument, I eventually had to raise a dispute. The most disappointing part was that Wego did not really help. Their role seemed to end as soon as they redirected me to the third-party website. As a long-time user, I expected Wego to take more responsibility for the companies they advertise or redirect customers to, especially when there is a serious problem. I don’t know if Wego has proper customer support for situations like this, but this experience completely changed my opinion of the app. I have now uninstalled Wego and will be much more careful about booking through third-party websites in the future. ### 1/5 — Would give 0 stars. *2026-07-14, version 7.52.1* It’s a scam, please do not download or use this app. We are unable to check into our hotel due to issues with WeGo, despite giving full payment. No efforts for refunds were made. I did not receive my refund at all. Not a legitimate platform, as no proper route of communication was given. Customer support only encouraged me to continue contacting them via live chat or calling internationally (service charges were applicable too). Don’t be fooled by the low prices. It does not care about its customers or their problems. I bought a flight ticket through Wego on 26-02-2026. (Jeddah - Bahrain - Manila ) ,The booking was confirmed by Wego and the airline on 01-03-2026. The flight was canceled by the airline on 03-03-2026 due to the Strait of Hormuz crisis. On the same date, I contacted Wego and created a ticket refund request. A Wego employee informed me that the refund process would take 90 days. After more than 90 days, the ticket amount was not refunded to me. I contacted Wego on 17-06-2026 and filed a complaint for the delayed refund, but I received no response. I sent an email complaint to the CEO of Wego, but he did not reply. I also sent an email complaint to Wego's Regional Manager in the Middle East, but received no reply. Until now, after more than 4 months, I have still not received my refund. Truly, Wego is a very, very bad company. ### 1/5 — DO NOT BOOK IN THIS APP *2026-07-10, version 7.52.1* Here is the story. This app has the most difficult customer service to reach out. They are 24/7 yet nobody will asnwer your call in times of when you needed the most. I tried several times calling in different timings yet nobody will answer you until you become hopeless. But dont worry they have LIVEchat. They livechat is more useless than calling. Someone will chat with you but again will refer you to call the number. And when you asked to file a complaint. They will never entertain you. Also the survey on the end of the chat. Ofcourse i gave 0 out of 10. Guess what. The survey doesnt work too. This is a modern scam doing by many apps. So be careful in choose a platform. I suggest booked direct to airlines which can helped you better in time of flight changes, delays, and many things about your flights ### 1/5 — My booking linked to a different email *2026-07-10, version 7.52.1* If I could give 0 stars, I would. As soon as I received my booking reference, I tried to access Manage Booking. Unfortunately, I discovered that my reservation was linked to a different email address. Following Wego’s advice, I contacted the airline. The airline confirmed that the booking was linked to an active airline account. This is a serious privacy and security concern. I am traveling with a toddler, and I have booked through many different travel agencies before. This is the first time I have experienced something like this. Because I cannot manage my own booking, I now have no choice but to purchase add-ons through Wego, which may cost significantly more than booking them directly with the airline. I don’t know whether this is intentional, but the situation is extremely disappointing and concerning. The reservation was made and the amount was deducted. When I arrived at the hotel, I was surprised that my reservation was not confirmed despite the discount. When I asked for help from the employee A. Wego, the reservation was answered with a failure. When she was asked about the solution, she said, book from the same hotel. Indeed, you win Yaweigo with the worst application for reservations. In another application, the customer is compensated or at least provide a discount with the provision of service. I contacted the customer service department they said it’s going to be cleared in 90 days and You will get your original amount refunded in your account but they stopped my money for more than 4 months After 4 months they gave me my money back and they deducted 100£ as Wego processing fee lol I waited for more then 4 months and never received my original amount back My suggestion is Fellas Always book flights Through Original Website of the airline it will cost you 50-100 more but their policies are way more professional than these third party Apps they will give you refunds with in a week and they never charge you any kind of stupid fesses Thanks ### 1/5 — Poor *2026-08-03, version 7.53.0* Very disappointing experience. When I made my booking, I was shown an offer stating that if I purchased the insurance, I would receive a 100% refund if I had to cancel. However, this turned out to be misleading. They imposed complicated conditions and asked me to provide multiple documents. Even after I submitted all the required evidence, my refund request was still denied. The refund policy was not transparent, and the advertising did not match my actual experience. Even though the booking was unsuccessful, €285.03 was charged from my account. After contacting customer support, I was told I would receive a refund within 20 days, and I eventually did. Months later, the exact same amount (€285.03) was deducted from my account again without my authorization, even though I never made another bookingI contacted customer support immediately and provided everything they asked for, including my bank statement, booking ID, and all the transaction details. Despite all the evidence, they simply kept saying that Wego did not take the money and told me to contact my bank.This response is unacceptable. Instead of properly investigating the issue, they denied responsibility.
