Please help! *2020-01-12, version 1.7.2* I love better me yoga and paid 6 months subscription. My subscription is good till March 2020. In the past months, I had issues with the app it some times stop working but then worked again. Loved the app when it worked! But half of the time it does not work! Now I cannot even find yoga in the weighloss app. I tried to turn off phone, turn back on, after many tries I am exhausted. I Opened my phon to try to do a nice relaxing yoga session but I ended up spending like 3 hours searching my phone and the App Store trying to figure out where my YOGA app was, THAT I PAID A SUBSCRIPTION FOR, but turns out I had already opened the app about 10 times and did not even notice or even recognize it because it is NOT THE SAME APP AND NOT WHAT I PURCHASED A SUBSCRIPTION FOR !!! I appreciate the effort in changing the work outs and offering different work out styles but I purchased this as described as a YOGA app with YOGA GOALS. I would like a refund because this is not what I paid for and is now A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT APP WITH DIFFERENT WORKOUT GOALS!!! This needs to either be a different section of the app or a whole new app because these workouts seem great but NO YOGA TO BE FOUND. Now all of a sudden that app no longer exists and I instead have a premium subscription to a weight loss program. If you’re going to discontinue a service, allow people to get a refund for the MONTHS of that service they paid for in advance. I uninstalled it before the trial end and they still charged my bank twice!! You go to their website and there’s no number you can call no way to log in back into the account just ridiculous ### 1/5 — Poorly pieced together *2019-09-25, version 1.4.5* I tried following one of the flexibility yoga flows (not specific just general flexibility) the first thing I noticed was that the different poses did not flow together at all, they would move through in a really disorganized manner and would have you in downdog and then in a lung with zero transition. Also there would be repeats of the same pose in a row (forward lung and warrior 1 which were described identically). Definitely download this app. You also don’t need a membership like other apps. Edit: YES YOU DO. Changing rating to 2 stars because it’s still good. ### 1/5 — Be careful when you sign up!!! *2019-07-28, version 1.4.5* I thought it would be fun to try yoga, signed up for a 7 day free trial, didn’t really understand it, so I ignored the app. All of a sudden I get charged $56 for a 6 month subscription??? I tried to get a refund or something because I had deleted the app, but I didn’t get anything back. It was also a very complicated process. I did not sign up for 6 months of yoga. Be careful. It’s probably best not to download at all. ### 1/5 — Buyer beware! *2019-06-13, version 1.4.5* This app is very deceptive when it comes to how it charges you. It asks you to pick which charge plan you want - $2.99/week or 7 day free trial and then $9.99/week. You expect that the app will charge per week, but instead it charges you $2.99/week for the rest of the year in one lump sum! That’s deceiving and false advertising! Why don’t they just show what they actually plan on charging us that same day?! They do this so that you’ll think it’s inexpensive and get suckered into purchasing and then end up getting charged full cost! Apple should not allow this kind of deception. Consumers have a right to know and see up front what they’re paying for. I only got one sample lesson, and the sound kept cutting out, which interrupted my yoga session. When I tried to move on to the next lesson to see if it would be better, of course the app wouldn’t let me unless I bought a subscription. Sorry guys, if your ONE sample lesson isn’t good, you can’t expect me to have any desire to buy a subscription. I dont know if this was a malfunction in the app or my internet. I think it would help if we were able to download the programs we wanted so we didnt have to encounter a problem with the wifi when we are trying to relax with yoga. Also i want to be able to use this app whereever i am. always needing wifi limits my ability to do so. You guys have done a great job, the idea is awesome just needs a little work. It’s a SCAM!! *2021-08-13, version 1.10.0* I subscribed to see what it’s about and never, I repeat NEVER used it. I cancelled March 24, 2021. I am still getting billed $9.99. Unless you have $10 a month for this company to steal. RUN!!!! Do not stop here. Awful! I’ve tried repeatedly to get them to STOP billing me. No luck! I’m way seeing who else this is happening to. Perhaps a lawyer should get involved with this company. ### 1/5 — Not Free *2021-05-06, version 1.10.0* You download the “free” app and answer a few easy questions... then you have to pay for a subscription to use it. It’s not worth the costs. The exercises are decent but I downloaded it for the meal/diet and fasting aspect that was advertised to me on Facebook. The app has none of that. It gives you daily planned meals but doesn’t allow you to adjust the meal plan in anyway. For example if you have an allergy you can’t adjust for it, or if you have a dislike for geek yogurt you can’t take it out. It’s just a set plan that is in no one modified for the individual. The only thing I wish is that the classes offer modifications and also, in the 20 min classes it sometimes tells you to hold a pose for 30 seconds but doesn’t actually wait 30 seconds before going to the next post which is confusing and disruptive in the middle of a pose to pause the class and use a stopwatch. I love the app. It’s awesome for great class options on the go!!!! It’ll say hold pose for 60 seconds but then switch to a different pose during the 60 seconds and if you’re doing the pose you can’t pause it. Although not a good fit for me, they seem eager to want to have their customers happy. After subscribing via FaceBook, no way to access the app without paying a lot more money. The meal plans are absolutely disgusting and the exercises are nothing special.
