My goto app for weight monitoring. And the developer is responsive to feature requests!

**Developer response:** A "Scale Type" option with "Affirmation" and "Silent" settings is available in version 3.5.

Please add option to turn off the sound. It is mandatory to listen to a stupid random saying every time you enter your weight. Besides being annoying it stops any music playing on your phone and you have to go turn it back on.
