### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-04-01, version 5.8.5*

Easy to use. Complete. So glad I found this.

### 4/5 — Notes!

*2026-03-21, version 5.8.5*

I love this app! Is there a way to add a feature so I can take notes, sometimes I do something different and I want to be able to add a small note on the exercise so

### 5/5 — Phenomenal

*2026-03-10, version 5.8.5*

Terrific app with amazing UI and features. Just go for it. Although everything is great still it can be improved. Template making could be made more seamless. It would be nice if the app remained on the section/screen where it was before locking screen I guess that is a bug because it sometimes doesn’t happen and stays on the same screen. Otherwise hats off to the developers. Thankyou for your effort and great work.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-03-10, version 5.8.5*

Just try it, seriously

### 5/5 — This app is so good it didn’t ask me to review it

*2026-03-06, version 5.8.5*

I have used this app for years, and it just works. Doesn’t get in the way. Doesn’t ask for attention. Super simple to use and tracks things very nicely. It’s a breath of fresh air every time I use it.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2026-02-20, version 5.8.5*

This is an amazing app. I’ve had paid services, this is equally as good if you know what you’re doing. Make a workout, log your sets and reps, copy the workout as a template, repeat and progress. The app also remembers what your final set was on any given exercise so you will know what weight you use in the reps you got if you repeat that exercise. This makes it so much easier to walk progress because you know what you have to beat.

### 5/5 — Amazing Fitness App

*2026-02-20, version 5.8.5*

This app has been monumental in my fitness journey. I’m an advanced lifter. Work out 6x a week and this has kept me accountable. You can add your own workout outs, see the trajectory of your improvement and log everything for reference! I feel the difference in my strength and my progression because this of this app. Great tool to compliment my programming!!!

### 4/5 — Great app but...

*2026-02-15, version 5.8.5*

This app is great. I would have given it 5 ⭐️’s but… a “Notes” option for each finished workout is be a must have. Something to allow the person to capture the important items that pertained to their workout, e.g. why they went down in weight, how they felt at the end of the workout, key takeaways from the workout, etc.

### 5/5 — This is the one

*2026-02-10, version 5.8.5*

Everything I’m looking for, no ads or subscriptions, customizable, fantastic UI, awesome tracking stats

### 5/5 — Can’t believe this is free!

*2026-02-03, version 5.8.5*

Hands down, the best exercise app I’ve ever seen. Premium quality design and features.

**Clearly** designed by an exercise enthusiast who wants to help others succeed.

Gabriel, thank you!

### 5/5 — Top tier app

*2026-01-31, version 5.8.5*

Easily one of the best apps I’ve ever used it’s easy it’s fun and most importantly free! Love all the features and it’s a great tool to log workouts amazing app!

### 5/5 — Great weightlifting tracker app

*2026-01-29, version 5.8.5*

For a 100% free app, this one is AWESOME!! It would be nice if you guys could add more exercises to the list. It would be even more awesome if you could set it up to connect with my Apple Fitness stuff. Other than those suggestions, I have zero complaints. The app works perfectly with no annoying ads interrupting my use of it.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2026-01-22, version 5.8.5*

I use this everyday it is wonderful!

### 5/5 — Great app for lifting

*2026-01-22, version 5.8.5*

Love the app and functionality. I’d like to incorporate kettlebell workouts but that’s a minor thing. Overall, very well done

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-01-16, version 5.8.4*

Configurable to meet my needs with nice metrics. The only area for improvement would be the ability to increase to larger text for readability.

### 5/5 — Best weightlifting app

*2026-01-12, version 5.8.4*

Can’t say enough about this log book app. Has just about all log features you would want including iCloud backup and for free is wild.

### 4/5 — Really solid app

*2026-01-02, version 5.8.4*

Really solid weightlifting app, easy to use and great for tracking results. I just wish the cloud sync or backup was fully supported as I lost older data with a bad phone transfer at one point.

### 5/5 — Easily the Best

*2025-12-19, version 5.8.4*

I’ve fished around looking for lifting apps over the years. This is certainly the best by a wide margin.

I switched to this one after the app I used for years went subscription, for an outrageous amount at that. So I lost years of data from them. Plus they asked really invasive questions. If you’re using or considering that app; don’t!

This has all you need and it does it well.

Easy to repeat lifts in a workout from day to day ([squat, ohp, deadlift] day then [squat, bench, power clean day]). As many as you want.

Easy to see what your last lift weight and reps were.

Custom exercises

It takes a little to figure some of it out as it’s a little quirky. Nothing to diminish the value it offers.

This is the workout app you want.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unable to even rename a workout

*2026-07-15, version 5.8.6*

I was unable to even change the name of the default “afternoon workout” to “leg day”. Would not allow me to do it. Deleting app

### 1/5 — Bad update ruined app

*2024-03-20, version 5.8.3*

Just updated and crushing all the time while launching. My device iPhone XR

### 1/5 — Crashes Upon Opening on iOS13.6

*2023-06-18*

Over the years past two years, this app has been heaven-sent, perfect, and very useful in terms of helping with my gym progress. No other app I’ve tried can match it.

Since using this app almost daily for two years, it’s been so good that I’ve shared it with several friends to help them on their fitness journey as well.

-

Unfortunately, yesterday I updated this app, and to my unfortunate surprise, the app closes immediately upon opening.

-

Updating my iPhone 11 to iOS16 is not an option because Apple has been caught deliberately slowing down older iPhones that update their software to the latest versions through “ planned obsolescence”. I fear if I update my iPhone, it will slow down and force me to purchase another new device which I don’t have the money for, similar to how my iPhone 6 Plus slowed down after updating its iOS when it was about 3 years old. Updating my iPhone is an uncertain risk I’m currently unable to make financially, and I must say, I’m slightly disappointed I may no longer be able to use this amazing app. All of my data is in the app extending over two years, which I have used as a reference when helping others in their fitness journey. Occasionally, I pull out my phone and show people 1RM calculations, charts, and data in the app of my progress to help friends create their own workouts. To the developers, may you help me use the app on my iPhone 11 iOS 13.6? I would love to continue using such a useful app and continue spreading your name. To friends I call you “the rainbow weightlifting app you can find in the App Store”. Thank you.

### 1/5 — Never would open. Only crashes

*2022-07-16, version 5.6.4*

I downloaded the app. Then tapped it to open and it immediately crashed. Tried to open it several times and it crashed every time. The last update on the App Store was 1 weeks ago. I deleted the app and re-downloaded it. Same thing happened. So I deleted it again 2 more times and no matter what it just crashed every time upon attempting to open it. So I never did get to see the inside of the app. Just the logo on my screen.

### 1/5 — Very confusing

*2018-09-06, version 4.5.1*

Very confusing app. Editing workout names is impossible. Deleted it without even using it.

### 1/5 — Templates don’t work. Boots you out of the app when you try to put in reps/weight.

*2017-12-20, version 3.3.1*

Templates don’t work. Boots you out of the app when you try to put in reps/weight.

### 2/5 — Colorful and awkward

*2024-11-20, version 5.8.3*

This app is nice and colorful.

Plenty of exercises and you can add your reps.

The colors are not communicative. Sometimes the button is on the screen but there is modal on top so you are not to click the button. It is confusing.

Also if are trying to add an exercise, the pop up doesn’t have a close button while you are typing. So first you have to scroll to get the search box then you type then you click and nothing happens. So you have to do something weird to make the keyboard go away first and the you click.

Has to delete app because I started putting in an exercise. It wasn’t on the list. Couldn’t proceed. Couldn’t do anything.

### 2/5 — It’s not free anymore

*2024-06-17, version 5.8.3*

It has changed since these earlier reviews. It’s no longer free and they put you on the free trial without consent.

### 3/5 — Was Great but now Buggy

*2026-05-19, version 5.8.5*

Started losing all my data for
incline bench last week. The analytics show zero instances but the past workouts still show my sets and reps. I can easily track my PRs and if I click analytics button it crashes the app :(. Loved it until now

### 3/5 — Awesome app but not user friendly.

*2025-06-22, version 5.8.4*

This app has all the features to track your workouts but it is not super user friendly. It really takes some searching and user error to figure out most of the functions. Example, it’s really difficult to name your workouts, and when you do rename the workout it’s not a guarantee the name will save.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-26, version 5.8.6*

I had been searching for a good app to track progress. I was skeptical about this app bc it was free to download and free to use.

This outperformed all my expectations!

### 5/5 — My favorite lifting app ever

*2026-08-25, version 5.8.6*

It’s wonderful, I’ve looked far a wide for something simple and robust and this app right here is it. 🙌🏼

### 5/5 — Legitimately the best weightlifting app of all time

*2026-08-03, version 5.8.6*

I have nothing else to say. Try it!

### 5/5 — form and function

*2026-07-16, version 5.8.6*

Great app for documenting your daily routine. I like the ability to add exercises and being able to see how I progress over weeks and months.

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2026-06-20, version 5.8.5*

I've been using this app for years now to record my weightlifting and physical therapy activity. It's helpful to see where I am, how many pounds I lift for each activity, and most importantly, no ads or sneaky days collection. The app is lightweight.

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2026-06-19, version 5.8.5*

Been using this app for almost a year now and cannot find any reasons to switch to another app. It serves all my needs as a weightlifter.

### 5/5 — Clean Interface

*2026-05-19, version 5.8.5*

Exactly what I was looking for

### 5/5 — Absolutely perfect

*2026-05-03, version 5.8.5*

Everything I’m looking for, no ads or subscriptions, customizable, fantastic UI, and awesome tracking stats.

One little bug - app crashes if you try to change the name of a pre-existing exercise that you have tracked sets on before

### 5/5 — 11/10

*2026-04-29, version 5.8.5*

Only app I’ve used to track my progress at the gym. I’ve been using it for a really long time and I can’t complain.

### 5/5 — Just a great app

*2026-04-12, version 5.8.5*

Everything I’m looking for! I can make templates I can share them with friends, easily add exercises and motions, fantastic summaries. And it’s free. Love to buy the developer coffee.
